(No, I won't only count votes for myself; you can trust me on this) However, if I do this, votes in the poll, as of now, will not count. Only posted votes will count. They need good reasons too, or at least legit ones. (Nothing like: Person 1 > Person 2 | with nothing afterwards. The previous votes still count, but as of now, more votes like that won't count.) Well, thats my idea. I apologize if I made the situation really confusing. I would've left everything alone, but Roisin's vote crossed the line. Again, I apologize. Nightmarian Posted March 10, 2009 Report Share Posted March 10, 2009 Demented - you can look this situation this way...some people vote for your because you are Demented, some people vote against you because you are Demented...and other ones vote fairly...and again in those "fair votes" there are 2 sides, people who understand what makes a good card and on other side, people who don't....So, taking all this in consideration, score in any contest like this one, will not show who really made better card....Lets just hope that people who vote for/against you, only because your name is Demented, will give equal number of votes...If you start negating votes that are against you only because you are Demented, then you also should start negating votes that vote for you only because you are Demented....That is why i always in my contests ask people to grade cards balance, picture etc. so that there is some written reason why that vote is for me or for my opponent...there is no polls and votes that doesn't have detailed explanation and doesn't follow template are not counted in... Sleepy Posted March 11, 2009 Report Share Posted March 11, 2009 I'll come back to post again with my rate in a sec.. first, this is my suggestion:why not make a rubric of the way people should rate the cards? like:-OCG ?/10-Pic ?/10-Creativity ?/10-Balance ?/10-Side Note(s) [must include something]: Total = ?/50 or something like that? :? simply force people to comment, (a new thread is recomended to start from 0) if its a poll like this one where you can actually read the name of the person who voted, that would make things easier.. just see the vote, look around to see if the vote in the poll was justified with a comment/rubric desently rasonable, then you count the vote.. if the person didn't write anything or wrote something oviously stupid, you ignore it and maintain control of it in some way :) that is my idea of a fair contest where you can't really blame anyone for giving unfair votes :) what do you think? now without anything else to say, I'm going to see the cards and the vote will come in a second...(sorry for this SPAM-type long comment but I'm trying to help here ^-^" ) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

OCG is fine, I'm just discusing effects... Blood of the Master:When this card is activated, pay 1000 Life Points.(I thought it would say something like: "Pay 1000 Life Points to activate this card", but I'm not sure about it =/ ) Special Summon 1 Zombie-Type monster from your hand or Deck,(if you are ignoring the Summoning conditions at least try to make it less broken and make it so it can only be activated from your hand.) ignoring the Summoning Conditions. During the End Phase of your next 5 turns, you can pay 1000 Life Points to Special Summon 1 Zombie-Type monster from your hand(it seems like you fixed here the previews error, but the card would be good if it only Special Summoned once, from your hand ONLY, and kept the payment. now said this yours is still overpowered sinse you keep Special Summoning every turn for merel 1000 points, NOTE that I noticed these are not like the first one that ignores S conditions). During the End Phase of your 5th turn, if you have Special Summoned 4 cards by using this card's effect, inflict 2500 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points(so this is basically punishing your opponent for letting this card do its overpowered thing). If you have Special Summoned less than 4 monsters, destroy 3 cards you control. If you do not, you lose 1000 Life Points.(how funny :lol: I will thankfully pay 1000 if I keep the 3 cards, although this works with cards that activate when destroyed ...hmm.. but that means this is just another broken extra bonus for the card...) Enemy Avetment:Discard 1 card from your hand to activate this card(don't think you need this part, you would if it was a continuous spell. but lets just stick with payment written as simple as posible without changing the effect ;) ). This card remains face-up on the field until the End Phase of your opponent's next turn. Change control of 1 monster on your field with the highest ATK to your opponent and take control of 1 monster on your opponent's field with the highest ATK until the End Phase of your opponent's next turn.(it seems like there's something not right about the wording, but I can't really firgure out what it is or even if there is really something, I can't think of any way on how to write it in a better way..) Both monsters are treated as Normal Monsters. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, both monsters cannot be selected as attack targets and are unaffected by the effects of Spell, Trap, and Monster Cards (except this card). After this effect resolves, destroy both monsters.(I'm surpriced, this card is like some nerfed version of "Creature Swap" but I didn't have much to chritic) I'm sorry if I wasn't clear enough, but the card with less things to talk about is the one that gets my vote... you can tell... ^-^ I vote for DeMeNTeD. sorry, I'm trying to make this as fair as I can... :)I had something else to say but I just forgot, I'll add it as soon as I can remember...
