chuerta6
Forest dragon card is like Yata Garatsu except it will require a strategy to play if it were real it would be a stalling card that people would need to forward turns it would not be as cheap as yata since yata needs no tributes while Forest Dragon needs two. Although, Forest Dragon can be special summoned unlike Yata Garatsu, so play Forest Dragon in the right deck and you got yourself a staple. Lord Smeagle
Ok, I'm pretty sure the name is Yata-Garasu. You have some capitalization and OCG errors. There's nothing wrong majorly with the Forest Dragon, except that not being Special Summoned is sort of the point of Spirits...nevertheless, 6/10. Sleepy
I don't see any difference with the original yata-garasu (except an extra "t" in the name)
Taichi Masaki
I don't see any difference with the original yata-garasu (except an extra "t" in the name) The difference is that Forest Dragon has 8 stars. Therefore, no Yata-lock.

Therefore' date=' no Yata-lock.[/quote'] oh, I didn't noticed that the Dragon was the one replacing yata... I thought he had posted yata with a different (nerfed) effect. (that happens alot) and didn't put any attension to the dragon.. I have to say.. there are some capitalization errors (1 or 2) but otherwise this would do just right.. although in my opinion, requiring 1 tribute is about enough.. you want to change this card from bannable to balanced not to "almost never played" ;)so.... 8/

moneypony
Broken Broken BrokenEven if you had to discard' date=' once you've locked, you've locked. [img']http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/yugioh/images/d/df/SpiritualEnergySettleMachineLOD-EN-C.jpg[/img] yeah but the whole point of yata lock is to use Sky Scourge Norleas to reset the field and hand while Sangan is on the field to fetch yata and draw a cardin this case, your opponent can still counter and break the lock easily if you leave a card in their hand, since you can search the forest dragon but most likely won't be able to get 2 tributes every turn.If you plan to use Norleas's effect, search Forest Dragon, and hope to draw into it,and somehow get to tributes somehow,it wouldn't work since you have emptied your hand of the 2 cards you were given and you must discard a card at the end phase or else it is destroyedi suggest making it only require 1 tribute since it wouldn't be used it if wasn't while it require 2 tributes, you can still use the strike ninja + D.D. Scout Plan loop to provide 2 tributes a turn but if i remembered correctly, even though properly set,it would take a turn after Norleas's effect to work and even letting them draw 1 card will break the loopso no yata lock i also don't think there is a way to continuously special summon it i don't see any OCG errors other than changing "cannot draw during their draw phase" into "skips their next draw phase" since they can't do anything else in their draw phase anyways
