"Well, I've missed enough school for the week, so I should probably go home and study. And I'm getting kinda sick of all the vampire smell around here, so I'll see ya guys later." ~~~~~Aly went to Heather's house; she hadn't seen her mom in very long time. She bought a scarf and sunglasses from the dollar store and hid her face. "Hi, baby! How's college in La Push going?" Heather said when she walked through the door."It's great, mom, thanks. How are things with Daniel?" Aly said timidly, purposely making her voice coarse. "They're going pretty good; and I think he might propose soon!" Heather replied giddily. Aly smiled tentatively, sat down and tried to put enthusiasm into her tone and jumped into the conversation. "The pops kicked me out cuz he heard I've been ditching class...." "Um, sure. Feel free." And within seconds, there was a knock at the door. "Hey ladies." Vinessa said nonchalantly, inviting herself in. "Hello, Vinessa. How are you?" Heather asked. "Tired. Mind if I crash here?"Heather raised an eyebrow in suspicion.
