The movie playing was a little help- it was distracting enough to keep her from doing it- but when the main character Chester was introduced on the screen, she gave up and flipped out her phone. Silver Lining Posted May 25, 2009 Author Report Share Posted May 25, 2009 Aly could no longer hold back. She grabbed her daughter and loped gracefully from the window while no one was looking. Ironically enough, she landed outside the house. Bursting inside, no longer numb, she mentally calculated her chances of being able to get in five more words while Auster and Fenrir were arguing- they were very slim. She would have to take drastic measures. She first placed Bliss at the top of the stairs, and then bolted back into the living room. Time to put this stupid vampire strength to work... she thought darkly. Aly ripped the plywood out from beneath her feet, quickly terrorizing it into flames, and making it into a large ball of fire. He was covered in gray debris from the roof. His fangs were bared, eyes red. He didn't make a sound as he stared into his ex's terrified eyes. She sucked in a breath, and screamed, charging and Auster with ravenous eyes. She bit into his neck directly, giving her a little less then three seconds to ask.
