Ayasato-chan
Well, I finally decided to try my hand at Lv. Monsters. Here we go: Comments/Criticism accepted. [spoiler=Card Lore]When this card is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned, or Special Summoned, destroy 1 face-down monster on the field. If the monster destroyed was an Effect Monster Card, inflict 500 points of damage to both Players' Life Points. During the end of a turn that a monster was destroyed by this card's effect, send this card to the Graveyard to Special Summon 1 "Demonic Apathy Angel LV5" from your hand or Deck. [spoiler=Card Lore] This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by the effect of "Demonic Apathy Angel LV3". When this card is Special Summoned, both Players must search their respective Decks and select 1 Effect Monster Card and send it to the Graveyard. Inflict damage to both Players' Life Points equal to the combined Level of both monsters sent to the Graveyard x 200. During the end of a turn where this card destroys a monster by battle, send this card to the Graveyard to Special Summon 1 "Demonic Apathy Angel LV7" from your hand or Deck. [spoiler=Card Lore]This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by the effect of "Demonic Apathy Angel LV5". Once per turn, during your Standby Phase, inflict damage to both Players' Life Points equal to the number of Effect Monster Cards in both Players' Graveyards x 400. By discarding 1 Spell card from your hand, you can select 1 Effect Monster from your Deck and send it to the Graveyard. Note: I used LV7's picture for my very first set (Divine Destinies in case you can't remember or never saw it.) Art Credit: Let me find it. Guest Morpheous Erebos
A bit of OCG, but good none the less
Ayasato-chan
Thank you. Any other comments? Please?
I Hate Snatch Steal
Dealing both players damage seems counter productive or at least less desirable then just damaging the opponent. LV5 should be normal summon-able, as it is not THAT strong.
Ayasato-chan
I tried fitting the name to the effect. "Apathy" for both Players. If you think about it, these cards would work well in a LP Manipulation Deck. But thank you for the input.
.Requiem
I like the middle card's effect the rest seem fine.
Ayasato-chan
Why thank you X-31-dono. :P In any case, anyone else have comments?
.Requiem
You are welcome also with the first card effect you can just placed summoned in replace of all of those at the beginning.
Ayasato-chan
I suppose so. I just like the old OCG better. (One of my faults.)
.Requiem
Well the OCG gets annoying, but it does help for people to know what you are talking about or get higher ratings.
Skyson
Level 7 is... damaging. Assuming you met all of the effects of LV3 and LV5 first, you're guaranteed 2400 damage. (+1) LV3 destroys 1 face-down monster.(+1) LV3 is sent to the Graveyard to Special Summon LV5.(+2) LV5's effect causes both players to send an effect monster from their Deck to the hand.(+1) LV5 destroys a monster (presumably of the Effect variant) by battle.(+1) LV5 is sent to the Graveyard to Special Summon LV7. You both already took 500 from LV3, and a lot from LV5 if there wasn't a low-level to pitch. Assuming both players threw a level 3 monster, that's still 1200. And since LV7 fires on the Standby Phase, if you discarded a Spell Card on your turn to pitch one more monster, you've accumulated 4500 damage to both players. This is assuming there were no other monsters in the Graveyard or sent to the Graveyard during the course of LV3's ascension to LV7. It racks up damage so quickly that LV7 coming out draws forth a near-win condition. Genius. The top-LV monster of the set needs to have a devastating effect. Horus LV8 is a natural example, and this is pretty awesome. The damage to both players is relatively unique, and if nothing else there could be a fun little abuse Deck with Des Wombat to block out the turn player's damage. I like this a lot. Hard to imagine an opponent (or you) surviving more than two turns under LV7's cursed effect. Very amusing series. 9/10.
Ayasato-chan
Thank you. I really wanted a very *cursed* monster set as it were. But calling it genius? You're making me blush.
