$25 says this Deck is horrible.

Recommended Posts

Darth Browarod asked me to help him build an Exodia Deck, so I figured I'd give it a go, but I have no experience with Exodia, so this is most likely going to be horrible. Please try to assist me with the list instead of flaming like noobs.

x16 Monsters

x3 Destiny Hero - Dogma

x3 Destiny Hero - Plasma

x3 Thunder Dragon

x1 Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon

x1 Exodia the Forbidden One

x1 Left Arm of the Forbidden One

x1 Left Leg of the Forbidden One

x1 Right Arm of the Forbidden One

x1 Right Leg of the Forbidden One

x1 Elemental Hero Stratos

x20 Spells

x3 Upstart Goblin

x3 Trade-In

x3 Hand Destruction

x3 Dark Eruption

x3 Toon Table of Contents

x2 Destiny Draw

x2 Allure of Darkness

x1 Monster Reborn

$25 says you don't know how this Deck works.

- Monster Reborn

+Your Reasoning

It's completely pointless in an exodia deck...

That's like saying it's pointless in a Macro Deck. It's not pointless at all. You can easily bring back one of your opponent's monsters that they discarded with Hand Destruction, or that they sent to the Graveyard some other way.

3x plasma

1x dogma

1x diamond dude

2x toon blue-eyes

1x stratos

3x manticore

5x exodia

2x allure

2x d draw

1x cosr

3x toon table

3x hand destruction

3x upstart

3x trade in

1x rota

2x foolish

2x magical mallet

2x DWD/dark eruption

This version of the deck was kind of murdered by the list so this is the best I can think of ATM.

I keep feeling like I am forgetting something.

And then do what with it?

It's better to just throw in more draw power so you can grab exodia faster than have a pointless monster on your side of the field that won't be there for long.

And what other possible draw power is there?

Why no threatening roar?

I did say the Deck was horrible.

And what other possible draw power is there?

Did you even look at my deck list?

I just glanced through it. I don't like the idea of running Reinforcements of the Army with only two targets. Running three Manticore with only one Card of Safe Return seems silly.

:P super rejuvenation

I tried that once... It kinda sucked.

rienforcements just becomes easy discard fodder if it becomes a dead card.

Mantiloop is still your best ftk option.

LOL.

Maybe go with something like this:

Monsters: 19

5x Exodia pieces

3x Destiny Hero - Plasma

1x Destiny Hero - Dogma

2x Destiny Hero - Malicious

3x Armageddon Knight

3x Thunder Dragon

1x Elemental Hero Stratos

1x Sangan (Crush target that also turns into an Exodia piece if used for Crush)

Spells: 18

2x Allure of Darkness

2x Destiny Draw

2x Trade-In

3x Upstart Goblin

3x Hand Destruction

3x Dark Eruption

2x Dark Factory of Mass Production

1x Reinforcement of the Army

Traps: 4

1x Crush Card Virus

3x Jar of Greed / Legacy of Yata-Garasu / Reckless Greed

Based on a build I posted here a while back. The problem here is D.D. Crow can murder this so for the Side Deck, make sure it includes Imperial Iron Wall or Burial from a Different Dimension.

Try Reckless Greed first. If that doesnt work, Legacy of Yata-Garasu or Jar of Greed should be tried out next.

How 'bout this?

Monsters (20)

5x Exodia Pieces

2x Golem Sentry

2x Stone Statue of the Aztecs

3x Aqua Madoor

3x Mystic Tomato

1x Hade-Hane

2x Neo Aqua Madoor

2x Labyrinth Wall

Spells (13)

3x Dark Factory of Mass Production

3x Foolish Burial

3x Back to Square One

2x Nightmare's Steelcage

1x Magical Mallet

1x A Legendary Ocean

Traps (7)

2x Waboku

2x Tornado Wall

2x Xing Zhen Hu

1x Mirror Wall

The best to go with Exodia is a high defense deck. By killing the Mystic Tomatoes, you call Exodia's pieces to the field, kill it and get it back to your hand with Dark Factory of Mass Production, or just send it to the top of the deck and draw it the next turn by Dark Factory of Mass Production. A Legendary Ocean and Tornado Wall, along with all the other Trap Cards are there to stall the enemy and stop their strategy.

Only I can play BS1's well. Hane? Hane? 2 Tornado Wall for 1 Legendary Ocean? What if the main Exodia head gets into the Graveyard?
