OverlordMMM Posted March 22, 2009 Report Share Posted March 22, 2009 Right now I have 9 out of the 30+ cards I'm going to make for this set (I'm making enough for a deck if you use regular cards as well).......so here they are: Because this one has a lot of text in it, here is it's effect: "This monster cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This monster can only be Special Summoned by removing from play 1 "Overlord - The Honorable" while the cards "Slow Death" and "Eternal Life" are equipped to it. This card is unaffected by all effects of Spells, Traps, and Monsters. While on the field, this card cannot be destroyed in battle or removed from play. This card must be chosen as an attack target if the opponent declares an attack. If this card is involved in battle, destroy the monster which battled this card after Damage Calculation. During the End phase of your turns, you must discard two cards from your hand. If you do not, your Life Points are decreased by 2100." This one is wordy too.....so here's the effect: "This card's effect may not be negated by any other card effect. This card cannot be destroyed in battle, change battle positions, or be tributed under any conditions. Any card equipped with this cannot attack and has its ATK and DEF decreased by 200 during each Standby Phase of the equipped monster's controller. During the End Phase, the controller of the monster loses Life Points equal to the monster's attack. When this card is destroyed, destroy the equipped monster." Dr. Cakey Posted March 22, 2009 Report Share Posted March 22, 2009 The Cursed One is overpowered - it is indestructible. I know it's hard to summon, but that doesn't matter. OverlordMMM Posted March 22, 2009 Author Report Share Posted March 22, 2009 The trick with that card is simply the hand, and as you'll find out, many of the future cards in the set will involve discarding from the hand. So if you don't have cards to bring more cards into your hand, you'll run out really quickly......which means you'll get killed in 4 turns (if you have full health when you summon him).......frankly, for any card thats a high price, plus because of the effect of "Slow Death", you will not want to use it on your cards unless you know your getting "Overlord - Cursed One" out, and you may want to use it on your opponent instead (all three of those cards would be Limited at the very least)..... .....chances are, you'll need a lot of luck to get the card onto the field.....and even more to get it on the field while having a hand and full health..... ....but anyway, thats my reasoning on that card..... ...sorry about the images.....I'll fix them eventually, but today I made the cards one after the other..... OverlordMMM Posted March 22, 2009 Author Report Share Posted March 22, 2009 ....thats what I get for grabbing images from google, but on the bright side, you can't say you've seen them used on any cards (except for maybe the multi-attack one....I couldn't find what I was looking for).... OverlordMMM Posted March 22, 2009 Author Report Share Posted March 22, 2009 ..it may seem like a small part of the effect, but you have to use a good chunk of your hand to get it out........if they have LP damaging effect cards, that card is royally screwed. Besides, that monster can only attack once per turn and that can't be changed, so all you need to do is stall.... (also check out the Economic Collapse card that someone recently made, a card like that messes with the effect immediately) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
