Kaisu just wandered, thinking. Why can't I do this? Why can't I just duel? The thoughts fustrated him, and he walked up to the rest. Then he rememebred something... A fire... someone was speaking... telling him to go.... a golden box... a card.. of great power.... the final stage.... of his deck... the last one... Armed Dragon LVL 10.... he had gotten his first, LVL3 when he won his first game.... later.. the next, LVL5... and finnaly.. at the end of the cup... Armed Dragon LVL7.... the final stage.. one last card... unseen... that would unlease his true power..... He looked up, and he held up his card.

Poseidon continued trekking on through the forest, about two metres ahead of Jade, Liang and Ryo. He had a plan, and he had to stick to it, his thoughts dwelled on Jacob, and the deaths of himself and his friends, and he already knew, he wasn't alone...

 

He continued forwards as if nothing had happened, Jade might know, however she would not be able to tap into his deepest thoughts, even with relinquished with her, they could not master the Necklace on such a level to be able to see thoughts, that was, in fact, the Key's power, one Poseidon was quickly adjusting to.

 

As he trekked through the mud and the soil, his boots, now covered in a dark brown mud, he tripped, into a small ditch, and his head landed flat onto a rock, instantly, he was knocked unconscious. His body lay misshapen, the others should be able to tell he was alive, he had a pulse. However he was out cold.

 

Poseidon's eyes opened, he was in ancient Egypt, he could easily tell from the heat and the sand, he had been here before, however this time there were stalls, men, women and children walking around, buying, selling and trading their goods. Poseidon walked through looking upon each stall, hoping to find something of interest or value. Incidentally, he could not.

 

As he continued he looked down at his clothes, we was no longer wearing his wet mud ridden boots, coat and jeans, he was now wearing the clothes of an Egyptian priest, a young Egyptian priest, as he continued forth to what he saw as a large respected golden temple he was stopped, by another young Egyptian priest, wearing clothes similar to his own, as he examined him he saw the puzzle around his neck, Poseidon's eyes widened as he looked up to see Jacob's face, this Egyptian Jacob then spoke to Poseidon

"Come quickly, Priest Khronair has just died"

And just as Poseidon was about to speak in shock, he replied without his own control

"Of course, and we must find the next Shadian Tomb Keeper tonight"

Poseidon continued to walk through, now realising he was not in control of himself, he could scream and shout, but it would be silenced before he even had a chance to breathe. And without control, he continued to walk towards the shining golden temple.

 

As he and Jacob approached the entrance they walked in, the first thing they could see was many people, tear ridden eyes, red, with the tears shed over this death, in the middle they saw a coffin, the coffin obviously contained Priest Khronair, it was a light golden sarcophagus, highly decorated with beads, rubies and crystals, in the middle lay the Millennium Scale, and Poseidon walked closer to pay his respects and examine the Scale. Soon a man walked through, his clothes highly decorated, more so than the coffin, this man, obviously, was the pharaoh of this time, and he stood, on a high step and bellowed out towards the priests.

 

"Tonight, a great member of our society, sadly, has passed away, and tonight, not only do we pay our commiserations and respects to Khronair, one of the highest members of our society, we also welcome, a newcomer, the man, chosen by god, to take his place, guard the Millennium Scale as the newest Shadian Tomb Keeper"

Immediately after the pharaoh had finished his small speech a hole at the top of the temple opened, and light shone through, and landed and stayed shining on ... Ryo ... Ryo's ancient Egyptian counterpart.

"It seems god has entrusted our Millennium Scales with Ryo Jirai, a young priest indeed now, a Shadian Tomb Keeper"

Bellowed the Pharaoh, at the top of his voice. Ryo then walked forwards and towards the altar where the pharaoh stood, Ryo knelt down, and placed his head into the pharaoh’s hands the pharaoh then bellowed in Egyptian but this time Poseidon could not understand, Jacob then turned to Poseidon and spoke, again, Poseidon could not understand it, however, not in control, Poseidon replied, and again, Poseidon couldn’t understand this, his vision began to blur and noises began to fade, the next things he knew he was in the hole in Duel Academy with a pounding headache and he could see Jade, Liang and Ryo’s worried faces.

Ryo knelt down beside Poseidon's body and felt for a pulse.

"No... not now, not like this..." thought Ryo, frantically searching. He breathed a sigh of relief. "There's a pulse. It's weak, but nonetheless, it's a pulse."

Suddenly, he felt something hot in his pocket. He put his hand in and felt the feather. He withdrew his hand at once. The Feather had grown hot and scalded Ryo.

"What?" murmured Ryo, looking at his irritated hand. He put his hand to find the Feather again. When he did, he saw three images. A burial, the Scales and Poseidon wearing Egyptian clothes with another boy.

"What are you trying to tell me?!" he demanded.

Poseidon moved his head, he could see now Matt must have followed as he was talking to Ryo, whiile Jade and Liang were on his other side, he tried to speak, it was again, imediately silenced, he attempted to scream, silenced, he could not open his mouth, all he coould do was move his head. SO he did.

 

Soon he gained control of his hands, he raised one, although it caused him pain, he could still not scream, he triedto stand yet he could not, he kept his hand raised in the air in the hope that Ryo would see.

"Poseidon!" said Ryo, noticing the raised hand. He seemed extremely weak. Ryo took the Feather out of his pocket, which had now cooled, and placed it in Poseidon's outstretched arm. "Goddess Ma'at... I call upon you! Free him!"

Poseidon's eyes flashed red, and he stood up, a dark aura surround him, he had the millenium symbol on his head, much like the slifer's beinh possessed, but far more powerful, he took a great leap and jumped metres into the air and landed in the mud next to Ryo, he then looked at him, his head leaned to the left, then he quickly, suddenly punhced him in the stomech sending him flying back, he then looked around to Matt.

The evile being possessing Poseidon lets out a cruel sinister laugh, and then he punches Matt, sending him flying back landing next to Ryo, he then looks at Poseidon's key and laughs. He then looks at Jade's necklace. He walks over, and punches Liang too.
