"... yeah ... but it worries me if it's true..." Poseidon said.

"When you said 'Vengful Brothers' I remembered my mother tellig me about it ... how it'd be the death of her... and now I believe it was ..."

Jin suht his eyes in a dark dapm corridor, when he opened them he looked at himself, his clothes had changed. He no londer wore that robe, but now he wore a modenr jacket, a casual shirt and a pair of jeans, he took a turning out of the corridor and was in Duel Academy, he walked onwards and headed straight for the toilet. He looked in the mirror, it had worked perfectly, he was back to his normal self, and this is how he liked it, his stenr mouth turned into a cheeky grin, like Poseidon's.

"Ahh ... it's good to be back to my own body... at least I wont have to go around imposing as 'Jin' now ..."

Poseidon then looked up at Jade. He looked deep into Jade's eyes.

"... Jin is not Ryo's brother ..."

"... Jin ... is also not his name ... Jin is the name Ryo's mother would've called her son had he been born.

However he was not... and I'm scared ... scared about what's gonna happen next ..."

"They'll be fine..." Liang said, now standing over Matt. "They just need to come to terms that nobody is reliable... That the world is nothing without self-reliance..." Liang pushed past Jade and Poseidon to continue searching for Jacob.

The Millennium Necklace glowed. Suddenly Jade went flying off her feet like someone had pushed her from behind and she landed on her front onto the floor, her head banging onto the ground as she did so. Her eyes shut and for a moment all she saw was pitch black darkness-

Until an image came. She had landed 5000 years back in time, and looking at the fire that was the sun hanging in the sky and the grass that made up the land, she could tell they were in Ancient Egypt as expected. She stood in a stuffy old part-shed part-hut made from stones so worn they were silently crying out from the heavy weight they were supporting. Jade didn't know how she knew it but she could tell this was about the same location as Poseidon's shed.

We must be in an Egyptian version of it, she thought to herself as she looked around. It felt rather strange, knowing this was his shed but an ancient version of it. Where the sofa usually was was now a long slab of stone; the fridge beside it (where Jade had once removed cheese and pizza after discovering P and Ryo asleep on the sofa, with P having some wierd dream about a nasty pizza man) was now replaced with a table built entirely out of wood and stone; where the TV and computer were they were gone, and instead replaced with two rather lovely pot plants. There was a linen carpet on the floor, and Poseidon and Ryo were sitting cross legged on the floor, Jade lounging comfortably on her side on the slab of stone, her head propped up by her arm, which was being propped up by her elbow, which touched the stone. Their three Millennium Items were lying on the ground. However they were being ignored; Poseidon and Ryo were looking at Jade, who had this time got rid of the veil. It looked rather strange not seeing the Necklace around her neck.

"...and he was lead out of the room," said Poseidon. "I didn't know what would happen next but I saw him squealing like a pig for his life. The two guards took him into the excution room, and he let out a final scream of terror as he was killed. Serves that stupid man right."

"Now now Poseidon," said Jade, shifting her elbow slightly, her bracelets jangling delightfully as she did so. "Don't be so harsh, show some respect for the dead."

"Well he deserved it," spat Poseidon. Jade temporarily flinched as she saw his spit fly out from his lips. "You know he does, admit it!" Jade's eyes looked at neither of the boys but at the carpet, to which she showed some morbid fascination.

"You know I foresaw everything Poseidon," she said. "You know I'm not surprised at what happened. Don't expect me to say whether I agree or not." Poseidon rolled his eyes; clearly he was fed up of Jade refering to all those visions she had with the Necklace. Ryo just kept silent, looking at his Scales which had remained as still as before, despite winds blowing in through the large square gaps for windows. Clearly he didn't want to voice an opinion.

Suddenly there was a knock. Although Jade jumped, neither of the Egyptian guys did. Instead they seemed to have an idea who was coming; Jade immediately sat up and reached for behind the stone, where she pulled out a sack. Suddenly the knocking grew violent, eventually becoming what felt like a body slam in an attempt to break down the door. Ryo scooped up the three items and placed them in the sack. Jade stealthily tied a knot and got off the seat.

Poseidon walked to the door and opened it. Jade let out a surprised gasp. It was Liang, but in Egyptian form! He was also wearing one of those funny robe things that stretched only to his knees. He had gold forearm bands and armbands on both his arms. For some reason, Poseidon didn't look happy at all to see him. Suddenly he yanked at Liang's hair, pulling him in forcefully as his foot shut the door. The entire shed/hut shook as he did so. He slammed Liang against the wall (for a moment Jade herself feared the place would cave in but clearly it was stronger than it actually looked) and forced him to kneel down. There was fire in his eyes. Jade looked at herself and Ryo, and noticed they too weren't looking happy.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!?" bellowed Poseidon, spitting into Liang's face as he shouted. "WHAT DID I TELL YOU? HUH? HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN???" As he spoke, Ryo grabbed the sack. Jade walked over and looked at Liang. Her eyes flashed and she suddenly kicked Liang hard in the face, knocking him out, a small trickle of blood running down the corner of his mouth.

"Pathetic," said Jade coolly, looking at Liang. Ryo came up to her, and they followed Poseidon out of the shack and into the woods. Jade wanted to follow but suddenly she was falling through nothing again, travelling to the future...

Jade was back at modern day Duel Academy. She was now in an area of the forest, and saw Jin standing there, his hands behind his back, clearly waiting for someone. Jade recognised this place; she had followed Jacob here last time. She heard scuffling from beneath the ground and watched as the well-hidden trapdoor opened and Jacob came crawling out. He kneeled beside the trapdoor and reached in, pulling out a bag. He bolted the door shut, then got to his feet and walked over slowly to Jin.

Jin walked over to Jacob and they stopped, their noses almost touching. Jacob spoke first, a slight smile on his face. "Hello Khronos, long time no see. Well ... not like this anyway." Khronos nodded and took a step back. It was remarkable he had managed to avoid treading on that cloak of his.

"It is good to be back. Now we must find Rafael ... and all of this will begin, upon us all, as a retribution..."

Jade thought the vision was over. Apparently not, for she found herself unable to leave, just watching ... watching ... watching ...

Little necklace of hers is all I need...Then I'll be going... "Liang..." Armagedon appeared beside Liang. "We really need to go stop Jacob!" Armagedon said. "Fine. We had better be off then..." Liang said coldly, leaving Jade with Poseidon. Armagedon really feels strongly about this... To bad I'm not 1 for caring anymore...I just need the items...

Poseidon knelt over Jade's body, and then the Necklace began to glow. Suddenly all Poseidon could see was a vast, bright light, covering everything, he could was now shouting, but he couldn't even hear himself screaming aloud...

And then, all of a sudde, he was then in Ancient Egypt, again no control of himself, he was running, holding a bag, he heard the clanking from the metal inside, somehow he could instantly tell the Key was in there, he seemed to really be forming a bond with it.

He could see Jade and RYo in front of him, also running, through the forest, Poseidon turned around; no-one was watching, the three of them then pulled up to a halt. Poseidon walked forwards a few steps, he pulled back a long thread of Ivy and soon a small hole in the Ivy was revealed. With Ivy going through the cracks.

Poseidon walked forwards, he grabbed a small lever in the hole, the trapdoor then opened, there was a ladder and Poseidon nodded, Jade went down it first, then Ryo followed, and just as Poseidon was about to go down, his face, filled with an emotion Poseidon knew too well, especially on himself, betrayal. Ryo's eyes widened, in the fear Poseidon was about to do what Ryo thought.

Poseidon then pushed the lever back up, leaving Jade and Ryo trapped underground, in Rafael's dungeon, he then looked into the bag, of course there was the Key, and underneath was the necklace and the Scales. Poseidon slowly strolled back to the shack, where awaiting him was a hooded man.

"It is done Rafael ... now ... you must fulfill your part of the bargain..."

Poseidon could not believe his words, or in fact that he thought he just betrayed his friends and his items, his duty, and for what? What was this Poseidon's price? It all became white again, that bright, white light, sending him to the future..

He was again as he was the first time, he felt dead, empty, he looked around him, he overheard Jacob and the newly proclaimed 'Khronos' who looked similar to himself, he looked back where he saw Jade, aslo a spirit, seemingly almost invisble, looked like her usual self but on a lowered opacity..

Liang runs into the field barrier, but gets hit by Jade's duel spirits. Guess they will be safe after all...I dont know what the hell is was thinking... Liang thought, smirking while he layed on the floor. But after that performance...I guess that I'm not gonna be in the good books...Ah well, I'll just have to put up with the consequences...
