BLEACH: The Thirteen Squadrons; Positions Have Been Reset, Many Seats Open

I'd like to join as Orichimaru Gin, please. (Heh, can't believe my second favorite captain was open.)

 

[spoiler=The task.]*Note: I haven't watched past 209, so if there's any inconsistencies between this and the anime/manga, please don't count off for them. Besides, this is AU.

 

Scenario -

Aizen has finally managed to create a Hougyoku, albeit, it was at the cost of his allies lives. Every last one of them, dead. But that didn't matter anymore, nothing else mattered anymore. He would soon be ruler of both Hueco Mundo and Soul Society, why should he care about the lowly pawns he used to reach his goal?

 

Still, he felt a bit of regret as he opened the Garganta and left toward the real world. His lovely creations were destroyed and no longer effective against the shinigami. But they did their job well, eliminating a total of 155 shinigami, 11 of them being captains, and one of them being a certain substitute shinigami that had taken out the majority of the Espada. They had also killed a quincy and 2 humans whom opposed them.

 

Aizen smiled as he stepped into the real world. The air was fresh, and the breeze felt cool. Aizen slowly dropped down, and had a seat on a bench beside a busy bus station. He pulled an apple from his pocket, and took a bite of it, smiling to himself. His plan was going off without a hitch. He hadn't a care in the world.

 

That is, until he showed up.

 

The air started to vibrate, and the ground shook violently. The crowds of people panicked, and ran into shelter. Aizen looked up, trying to pinpoint whatever was emitting such an immense reiatsu. For a moment, he could see nothing. But suddenly, a large rip in the air appeared. A slim, black sword could be seen. Part of the sky separated into two pieces, and from the void, came a figure in a black and red robe. His face was covered with a strange, white mask.

 

Aizen's smile faded, and he dropped the apple. He looked up at the being who quickly vanished, and appeared behind him, blade in hand. Aizen chuckled a bit, and grabbed the sword that the figure was holding.

"You underestimate me, Ichigo."

 

Let the battle for Karakura town begin.

Aizen smiled, still gripping the Zanpakutō, moved his hand in closing to Ichigo's stomach. Before his hand got too close, Ichigo clenched his Zanpakutō tightly, and cried out, "Getsuga Tenshō!". A dark red, almost violet beam burst from the sword. Both Aizen and Ichigo were blown back, and both easily landed on their feet and regained their balance.

 

"You think an attack like that could scathe me?" Aizen, once again, chuckled to himself. Aizen rushed toward Ichigo swiftly while a gust of debris from a near-by building flew back behind him. Ichigo blocked with his sword. The strength of the clash made the ground Ichigo was standing on sink in. Aizen kept up the slashes, they were progressing in strength each time he hit the blade. Ichigo's leg finally gave into the force of these thrusts, and his blade was knocked from his hands as he kneeled down.

 

"Why do you still live? It's of no importance, though." Aizen stated, attempting to deliver a blow to Ichigo's head. The blade went down at massive speed, a sinister smile crept across Aize's face. But to his dismay, Ichigo's hands went up and clasped the sword, mid-swing.

 

"I won't let you hurt more of the people I care about!" Ichigo said, pushing the sword away from him and toward Aizen. Immense spiritual pressure could be felt coming from Ichigo, his eyes looked directly into Aizen's, as he finally managed to push the blade back. Ichigo released the blade, and jumped back a few meters. Ichigo then pointed his right hand out, and a red ball glowed in front of it. The power was incredible. It fired from his hand at massive speed, aimed directly at Aizen. Smoke and rubbish flew up, covering the area where Aizen had been standing. It had seemed like a direct hit.

 

The area cleared area, and Aizen stood with his sword held in a position of defense. He laughed loudly at pointed his blade at Ichigo.

 

"Your power, it's a million light years away from mine!" Aizen held out his sword, and started to laugh maliciously. "Shatter, Kyōka Suigetsu!"

 

Suddenly, the area changed. Ichigo was in his home. Eating dinner with his two sisters. He was no longer in his bankai form. He was happy. Kari was hugging Ichigo, and his father was being as crazy as always. The weight of the world seemed to lift from his shoulders. He was playing 'patty-cake' with Kari after she finished hugging him.

But then, a blade went through his chest.

 

The vision of the now destroyed Karakura town flashed before Ichigo's eyes. A vision of Aizen standing triumphantly beside of him was his last sight. The thoughts of his family, friends, and comrades flew by him. A single tear was shed, as his body hit the cold floor.

El Sable was an abomination - even the most diehard Ggio fangirl on Bleach Asylum (who loves him to hte point of calling him her baby) believes that El Sable was a Kubo brainshit. She was very glad they didn't extend that form's screentime in the anime, especially because it looked WORSE in the anime than it did in the manga.

 

=/ Every Ggio fan wanted to see it go, so that we could remember him the way he was supposed to be - just Tigre Estoque epicness.

 

Also, Roxas, screw what the Bleach wiki tells you - Ggio entered a new release form with a different name to his initial release, different appearance, and (presumably) different abilities.

 

As such, I say it was an SRE, and won't believe otherwise till Kubo says so.

 

Anyway, an awesome TRUE form for him woulda been a more beastly-looking version Tigre Estoque - still slim and what not, but with more fur, longer fangs, claws, a tail, some orange coloring here and there, that kinda thing.

And he can keep the name "Tigre Estoque El Sable", because that name was win, despite the awful appearance.

Anyway, does anyone know what episode the 'Turn back the Pendulum' miniseries ends in the anime? I got tired of watching it (I was watching Bleach for like 5 hours straight. @.@), so I read it in the manga, and now I have no idea what episode I'm on.

Turn Back the Pendulum end on episode 212. After that is a two-episode filler arc that I'd have to say is the best Bleach Filler ever.

And yeah, the 2-episdoe filler Rox mentioned is worth watching. It's freaking hilarious and actually SETS UP the next episodes, which none of the other fillers did.

And no, El Sable wasn't beastly-looking, just bulky. I want something similar to like, Grimmjow's Pantera, except with more fur, Tiger motifs, and long hand-blades.

Yeah, I looked up a list of fillers for the series before I started watching them again. I skipped over all of them.

 

Also, for those 2 episodes, what the heck was up with that cartoon-ish looking worm hollow you see in the first episode? xD I kinda just skipped through those two, I saw a bit of each, though. I might go back and re-watch them once I get caught up.

 

Anyway, I'm on ep 215. I'm almost there. Yay.
