DARKPLANT RISING
I think that Riyouku is one of the cards that "are good but arn't thought as good". This card halves one card and adds the halved monster's halved ATK to another monster till the end of the turn. Most people might think that this card is garbage because it's 1 turn, but think of it... Let's say you have Vampire's Curse and your opponent has BlueEyes. If you activate Riryoku on these 2... V.C. =2000+1500=3500Blue =3000-2500=1500Attack!3500-1500=2000 That means that if you can change what the card says, it's "Destroy 1 Monster on your opponent's card of the field. Then one of your monsters can attack your opponent directly." isn't it?:):):):):)
Exiro
The reason people don't use it, is that it's not Spell Speed 2.Shrink is effective enough most of the time, and can be chained to the opponent's attack, so people prefer that over Riryoku. Also, should be in TCG.
LostLetter227
Yeah, if Riryoku was chainable, it would be much more playable. *cough*iforgot*cough*honest!! I'm actually thinking. Would this card be honest, or better than honest? Correct me if I'm wrong...
Toffee.
This is what I expected:I think that Riyouku is one of the cards that "are good but arn't thought as good". I wasnt dissappointed The anime verson of this card is the shizzle. As for the real verson... It was cool for its time' date=' Since it was 1 of those random cards that allowed [i']ANY[/i] monster to beat any of the opponet's monster(s). But now-a-days, Its just 1 of those "bad" cards. Still, It would have ben better if it were a Quick Play. Or at least a Trap Card. 1 more thing:@TC: You dont need to play like 3 of these at once, For the sake of an LOLATK monster. You only really need to use 1 at a time. 3 is just overkilling it, And your just wasting it(I mean if your using it and all, You dont want to use it up really fast)
Exiro
Yeah' date=' if Riryoku was chainable, it would be much more playable. *cough*iforgot*cough*honest!! I'm actually thinking. Would this card be honest, or better than honest? Correct me if I'm wrong...[/quote'] I have no idea how Riryoku could possibly 'become' honest, but I can tell you that Honest would be more effective, because it activates from the hand, but less splashable, because it only affects Light monsters. So, whether it's better or not is up to you. werewolfjedi
So, whether it's better or not is up to you. first you get to reduce the atk of a monster on the field, and then add that amount to another monster on your side, on top of their own atk, then atk the monster you drained.they got cut in half, and you got a boost equal to what the monster has left, leaving the monster's atk as run-over, like with honest. but this card can not be played at anytime, killing it's usefulness. DARKPLANT RISING
Thanks everybody for the comments on Riryoku. I also think now that Riryoku is not as good as the new stronger ones. Thank You!
