Alright, due to various circumstances, Stage One has been delayed. Until now.

From this moment, you have exactly 48 hours to place your votes. Should a team not propose any votes before the end of the Voting Round, their votes will be placed on themselves.

The warn log says Black Rose gave him a 40% warn for flaming/harassment in the GFX section, pushing him up to 100% and giving him an automatic 3-day ban. Presumably, you and Docomodake will need to come to a consensus on who will be the new captain.

Wait, what? Voting rounds are supposed to be 72 hours, aren't they? I think the fact that only one of the four teams voted makes it pretty clear that nobody expected the round to be over already.

The first Stage consists of three Voting Rounds' date=' each consisting of forty-eight hours. At any time during those forty-eight hours, it is possible for the Captain to submit their Team's vote.

A Voting Round has always been 48 hours.

Ladies and gentlemen, I'm glad to announce the end of the First Stage. The winners of this round are...

Team Two, with a total of four votes.

The Holy Empire of Britannia comes in second, with five votes, and Team Rocket ends in third place with six votes.

Team Two will move on to the Second Stage, which will start in exactly twenty-four hours.

Eh, figures that our plan didn't work, since Frfl's team would have needed to vote for Team 4 instead of Team 1 for it to happen, which they almost certainly wouldn't have done. It was worth a shot, though.

The Second Stage

Welcome back, Players, to the second and final Stage of Zero Rule. Bonds are shattered as the winning team from the First Stage play individually. You heard me, folks; it's a free-for-all game now, comrade against comrade.

How to win

The Second Stage is, in essence, a smaller version of the First Stage. The objective is to achieve the lowest unique amount of votes at the end of the Voting Round. There will only be a single Voting Round, lasting for forty-eight (48) hours, in which each Player has exactly three votes to distribute. It is also possible to buy an extra vote for 100 points. Any points submitted used for purchase of votes will be added to the jackpot. During the Voting Round, you may not place more than two thirds (2/3) of your total votes on a single Player.

At the end of the Voting Round, the results will be calculated and the Player with the lowest unique amount of votes will be the Winner. In the event of a perfect tie, the Player who bought the least amounts of Votes will be the Winner. Should there still be a tie, a special Sudden Death round will be held.

Feel free to ask any questions, either here or by PM.

Good luck.

I have sent a notice to Mirage; until I get a response, or until twenty-four hours have passed, the Second Stage will be postponed.

Important! Third Contestant

Should Mirage fail to reply within twenty-four hours, a Revival Round will be held, where the nine eliminated Players get a second chance at the grand prize.

Just a random comment: Revival Round? Someone's been reading their Liar Game. XD

Well' date=' the first game was a modified version of the Revival Round... especially when you notice that it is essentially a game of voting [i']for[/i] other people, with casting two votes against two opponents being the same as casting one vote for the third opponent. Of course, casting all of your votes against yourself is, I believe, the same as casting three positive votes for each opponent, making it a crippling move - instead of giving out one vote, you're giving out nine.

Not to mention that everyone should be reading Liar Game, because it's awesome. And watching Kaiji, since it's a lot like Liar Game, but does right a lot of things that Liar Game does wrong (with the only real problem being a narrator who talks a bit too much).

Although I'm hoping that this Revival Round here will be more interesting. A lot of the fun of Liar Game and Kaiji is seeing what crazy game will be played next, and it's disappointing that the regular first and second rounds of this Zero Game are so similar.

I won't say that this wasn't influenced by Liar Game, because it was. This entire Game is based around the Second Round - The Minority Rule - and without dropping too much of a hint, the optimal strategy is more or less the same.

I'm sure the tacticians among you have already found the significant difference between the Second Stage and the First Stage; the Revival Round will hold entirely different matters, should one be held.

Yes, but by my calculations, Frlf is at a massive disadvantage here because he is at a massive advantage.
