Heyo, I'm new here, and I'm looking for advice on this deck I built. I'm not too keen on aggressive type strategies, I've played with lockdown style decks since the beginning.

This all began with an Invincible Fortress structure deck. Look what it's become now:

Experimenting with

Dummy Golem - Yay, Creature Swap!

Lost Guardian - I summon Megarock. Oh snap. Lost Guardian gots power.

Mine Golem - Boom. AND it's a Rock.

Helpoemer - I sacrifice for a facedown. I wonder what it is...

Draining Shield - Because life gain is my favorite.

The magnets warriors are Normals with average ATK points.

Valkyrion is too weak for a 3 tribute, I suggest these instead:

--Replace the Magnet warriors with Fossil Tuskers (TAEV)

--Get another Megarock Dragon

--Granmarg the Rock Monarch helps

--Giant Rats!

--Combo Return from the Different Dimension or Dimension Fusion

after you summon Megarock Dragon, that's 4-5 monsters for a cost

--If you live in Japan, get Necroface

Already got 3 Rats.

Fossil Tusker... Eh, I don't like the fact it has 0 DEF... In my area, I'm swamped with those ridiculously fast Zombie decks.

Return from the Different Dimension? I tried making a D.D. Fortress deck, it didn't go out too well. Besides, it's going to be in the deck for like... one reason only. Is it really worth it?

 

Oh, I was considering Mormolith too.

I always considered that, but the start up time for that is so horribly slow. I would LOVE to throw him in there, though, if I had the synergy.

 

KA, could you explain your logic behind the edit?

 

and HORUS, I'd like explanations please?

+3 Golem Sentry.

 

If this is a rock deck, you should have Golem Sentry.

 

And Rock Bombardment. Allows you to send a monster to the graveyard, and inflict 500 points of damage to your opponent. You can remove that monster for Megarock Dragon later.

Eww... Another Badly Done Megarock Dragon Deck... Here are the basics:

 

Mega Rock Dragon x3 (Main card. If he fails, then just use Rock Fossil Release or RftDD)

Gigantes x3 (Beatstick and field clearer. Also works with Rock Fossil Release)

Legendary Jujitsu Master x3 (Already broken, and even better now)

Granmarg the Rock Monarch x3 (Yay! Somewhere he actually works well!)

Fossil Tusker x3 (Beatstick, and extra damage is good)

Mine Golem x3 (Extra damage and tough DEF is always good)

Giant Rat x3 (Searcher, mostly for Card Trooper)

Morphing Jar (He's rock too, and dumps cards)

Neo-Spacian Grand Mole (Bouce!)

Card Trooper (Dump)

Snipe Hunter (Dump and clear field)

Card Destruction (Dump)

Rock Fossil Release x3 (Obvious)

Rock Bombardment x3 (Get Granmarg in your grave for Rock Fossil Realease and do 500)

Return From the Different Dimension x2 (For the final move or backup if Megarock fails)

 

Notice I didn't post anything about Magnet Warriors in here. If you really need more Rocks, then use Morphing Jar #2, Goggle Golem, Golem Sentry, Monk Fighter, or Sand Moth.
