You know, I was wondering about the efficiency of this deck idea. It seems like that with a lucky draw you can pretty much crush your opponent - it's kinda problematic for the opponent if the monsters die in an unbelievable pace because of the Hinamizawa Syndrome Counter-overdose ^^ - but even with a not-so-good draw, it can pick up a fight with other decks. It seems like the most effective way to counter this deck is to get rid of Hinamizawa cards before they could be activated. For the Higurashi deck, cards like Field Barrier and Terraforming could be good supports from the existing cards, as it strongly relies on its Field Spell Card.

Well' date=' the reason why I can't wait to proxy duel this deck with my Espada deck, is because I can get out Arrogante Barragan Luisenbarn practically on my first turn, and once I get that out, you're screwed. And it's not affected by Spells and Traps. =)

I'd like to see that particular duel, considering that these are like amongst the best Pop Culture decks I saw on this site. Also it would be interesting to see how well they'd fare against other decks (existing decks, other custom decks, etc.)

Kasai: Seems like a balanced deal, as it has a high Level and effective but not overpowered effects.

Kumagai: Revealing hand is not a big deal for the opponent in most cases, so the usefulness of this card is not that high, in my opinion.

Kimiyoshi: Considering how easy to place Hinamizawa Syndrome counters, it could be an effective card, balanced by its somewhat lower ATK.

Mamiya: Hard to judge without "Houjou Teppei", but the built-in destroy effect can be devastating.

My scores are : Kasai - 8/10, Kumagai - 7/10, Kimiyoshi - 7.5/10, Mamiya - 7/10.

I might be re-concepting, to a more Agressive counter build =/

Because, I find hand advantage in this Deck doesn't seem rather strong due

to mass discarding for cards @_@ I'll think about it starting with an example

keep an eye on Keiichi you will see 2 version the new version will be on the right

tell me what you think!

EDIT: Maebara Keiichi Remake has been made, displayed below the orignal version.

Keiichi (Remake): Considering that the "Baseball Bat" Equip Spell Card is not that good, and the new effect goes well with the Hinamizawa Syndrome Counter-based concept, I like the new version better. 8.5/10 my rate for this card.

And you know, if this would be a real deck, I'd considering putting "Counter Cleaner" in the Side Deck when playing against this deck. One of the more effective Counter-specific playstyles I've seen.

Hanyuu and Hanyuu/Rebirth (Remake): Not bad, the more she attacks, the more powerful she becomes, making her very annoying to your opponent, especially the Rebirth version. 8/10 for both cards.

Unite (Remake): Yay, more /Rebirth support, because we all love them, right? ^^ . With the /Rebirth cards being Limited, it's not overpowered, hehehe~ My rating is 7.5/10 for this one.
