Ogre of Bloody Tears [discuss]

Recommended Posts

The featured card of 5D's ep58 and a new card from Jack (finally). That also means we might get this card in Stardust Overdrive. Is it worth it? I could see it as a n00b's Trageodia. Let's discuss.....

OgreoftheBloodyTears-JP-Anime-5D.png

During the Battle Phase of a turn in which you took damage from a direct attack' date=' when your opponent declares a second direct attack, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. This card's ATK and DEF become equal to the amount of damage you took from that direct attack. The monster that declared the second direct attack must then attack this card.

Art is very cool....

svc_guile_gd.gif Guile does not approve of this card.

It fails. It requires you to take damage first and then it's ATK will most likely be low as most duelists attack with their weakest monster first. Then it would probably end up beind destroyed by the second attack.

Well the rules do say that if a card is likely to be released you can discuss it here, I believe.

to see how they will trick kids into thinking it's broken...

Somone RELLY needs to have Gorz or Tragodeia in their decks....

WOW it's a crying ogre with a bat. And it's just a bit better than Kuriboh >.>

Personaly I think kuriboh is better...Doesn't rely on the opponent having 2 direct attacks in...doesn't make yo take damage first...doesn't make you wish they don't attack with there weakest monster...even though they will because the think it's gorz...and kuriboh self destructs upon conntact...

The only thing that makes him just a lil better than kuriboh is that there is a slight chance that he will surrvive and then you can tribute for a monarch or something like that.

Flute of Summoning Kuriboh...albiet not a very good card but in conjunction with the sky scourges and winged kuriboh it can make a fun, casual, deck and due the job that Sad Ogre does faster and without damag...
