OhHerro
Yup. Here's the first card I've made in like... A year... So don't expect the OCG to be any good, and don't expect greatness... Effect: During each of your Standby Phases, you may pay 500 Life Points and flip a coin. If heads, name 2 attributes. Your opponent selects 1 of them (there must be a card of the selected attribute on the field) and destroys all monsters of the selected attribute on the field. If tails, name 2 attributes of monsters that are on the field. Your opponent selects 1 of them and destroys all monsters of the selected attribute on the field. Image credit goes to Haris and Omni (IDK which, but I'm going to assume Haris) Just to clear up any potential confusion about the effect: Regardless whether you flip heads or tails, you must pay 500. The difference is, let's say the cards on the field are: You: TerremotOpp: Thestalos (do people still run monarch decks?) If you flip tails, you must select the attributes Earth and Fire, in which case your opponent would select Earth and you die a slow and painful death. If you flips heads, you could say Fire and Water (although it isn't on the field), in which case your opponent would be forced to select Fire, and Thestie go bye-bye. If there's only one attribute on the field, obviously you wouldn't be using the effect, but if for some reason you were, you would have to choose Earth and Earth. I'm contemplating changing the effect from what it currently is to making you pay 700-1000 and not having to flip, and instead just naming 2 attributes (don't have to be on the field) and having the opponent kill, although that could be seen as slightly overpowered. Hence the high cost. Nevertheless, this card was designed primarily with monarch disposal in mind, although it's pretty flexible, so it could work elsewhere as well. Comments/suggestions, feel free to make your thoughts be known.

Sleepy
not to offend, but the way its worded makes both (Heads and Tails) sound like the exact same effect).... During your Standby Phase, you can pay 500 Life Points to flip a coin. Heads: Name 2 Attributes. Your opponent selects 1 of them (there must be a card of the selected Attribute on the field) and destroys all monsters with the selected Attribute on the field. Tails: Name 2 Attributes of monsters that are on the field. Your opponent selects 1 of them and destroys all monsters of the selected Attribute on the field. :S

OhHerro
heads and tailsm have the same effect Illiteracy is clearly a problem amongst YCMers... sleepy: I know, that's a problem, but thanks for the OCG edit. If I were to do it the way you said though, I'd have to have bullet points (which is how it's supposed to be), but since I haven't the slightest idea how to do so, I just left it as it was. Taj: Any edits to bring that up to a 5/5? chainsaw: What part don't you get?

Leturn Master
:D :D :D <> :D :D :D Your Wrote: During each of your Standby Phases, you may pay 500 Life Points and flip a coin. If tails, name 2 attributes of monsters that are on the field. Your opponent selects 1 of them and destroys all monsters of the selected attribute on the field. Corrected Effect: "During each of your Standby Phases, you can pay 500 Life Points and flip a coin. If the result is heads, name 1 Attribute and destroy all monsters on the field of that Attribute. If the result is tails, name 2 Attributes of monsters on the field. Your opponent selects 1 Attribute and all monsters of the selected Attribute are destroyed (if all the monsters on the field only share 1 Attribute, then all monsters of that Attribute are destroyed." So the "heads" part of the effect is pretty much useless. If you're selecting the two Attributes, and one of them doesn't have to be for monsters on the field, then you might as well be choosing the Attribute yourself (outliers to this situation aren't going to be common, like having monsters of all 6 Attributes on the field -- I mean, what are you gonna have? "Elemental Mistress Doriado" and "Mystic Tomato"?), and the effect itself can't be worded intelligently, so it's best to boil it down. The second effect gets work done -- I've just corrected minor OCG errors (like capitalizing Attribute). Anyway, I think the effect just does a little too much (both good and bad) for such a low cost. You should make the LP cost 1000 instead of 500. Other than that, everything's good!

That's funking brilliant. I can't believe I didn't think to do that before! So I'll definitely be using your edits OR I'll completely re-vamp it to the following (because I think that you're right about the 1000 as opposed to 500): During each of your Standby Phases, you can pay 1000 Life Points to name 1 Attribute and destroy all monsters on the field of that Attribute. I'm unsure which I want to go with at this point, and the thing about the effect I initially had was that giving the option to your opponent makes it seem less overpowered, if it already seemed like that. Bleh... This is too confusing for people... I might just botch the idea completely due lack of intelligible effect. But thanks a lot for the edits! Well the card picture is awesome -- so it deserves some cool card. Your idea is original (though I don't think this card would really meet use in the metagame -- it can't hold its own very well and the chance it will help you vs. hurt you isn't good enough to keep it). With a picture like that, I expected something like "Chaos Camoflauge Somethingorother" or "Chaos Dog" or something along those lines. You've done a really good job, especially for coming back after a long break. Keep up the awesomeness!!
