Killey
This is a theme I created a long time ago and I think you might be able to find the old threads if you searched under my name. Originally, the theme used a counter system and had multiple effects based on the number of counters they used. I didn't like having so many effects per card and cards using a counter system are too cumbersome in a duel. The theme is aimed as being a Aggro/Control based deck with field swarming capabilities with the regular monsters that have a toolbox of effects but the attacks of the monsters are mediocre at best so to really do damage is to Synchro Summon. The Synchro monsters carry rather powerful effects focusing on control the opponents actions. However, I opted to keep the tuner on the field so that you can't Synchro swarm with so many different lock downs and OTK the opponent. The names of the Synchro's are based on the Major Arcanas (yes I know there are Arcana Force cards but I don't care). All of the Synchro monsters require their specific tuner so when I release all of the cards of the theme it'll actual be impossible to include every tuner/synchro combination and make a balanced deck so the trick will become finding a strategy you want to work with and then utilize the right cards in the theme to make it successful. I'm looking for some thoughts and discussion on the cards and I will rep anyone who provides good insight on the theme. This card is not sent to the Graveyard when used to Synchro Summon "Arcana XIV - The Amber Temperance" and cannot be used for another Synchro Summon. Once per turn, you can return 1 Equip Spell Card from your hand or Graveyard to the Deck to Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Arcana" monster from your Graveyard. Destroy it during the End Phase. Rulings: Returning 1 Equip Spell Card to your Deck is a cost. This effect does not target 1 Equip Spell Card in your Graveyard. "Ryougen, Crusader of the Arcana" + 1 or more non-Tuner monstersWhile you control this face-up card, a "Ryougen, Crusader of the Arcana" you control cannot be selected as an attack target and cannot declare an attack. This card returns to its owner's Extra Deck during the End Phase, if you do not control a "Ryougen, Crusader of the Arcana". If this card is removed from the field, destroy "Ryougen, Crusader of the Arcana". When this card is Special Summoned, you can equip as many Equip Spell Cards from your Graveyard as possible to this card. Once per turn, if a face-up "Arcana" monster(s) would be destroyed by a Spell Card, Trap Card, or Effect Monster's effect, you can send 1 Equip Spell Card on this card to the Graveyard for each of those monsters instead and destroy that card. Rulings:The effect of equipping Equip Spell Cards to this card targets. When applying the effect of "Arcana XIV - The Amber Temperance", you do not choose how many Equip Spell Cards to send to the Graveyard - you must send a number of Equip Spell Cards equal to the number of Arcana" monsters which will be destroyed. This card is not sent to the Graveyard when used to Synchro Summon "Arcana XI - The Silver Justice". Once per turn, you can discard 1 Spell Card to select and equip 1 Equip Spell Card from your Deck to a face-up "Arcana" monster you control. "Katzell, Crusader of the Arcana" + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters While you control this face-up card, a "Katzell, Crusader of the Arcana" you control cannot be selected as an attack target and cannot declare an attack. This card returns to its owner's Extra Deck during the End Phase, if you do not control a "Katzell, Crusader of the Arcana". If this card is removed from the field, destroy a "Katzell, Crusader of the Arcana" you control. When this card is equipped with an Equip Card, destroy 1 card your opponent controls. If this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate any Spell or Trap Cards until the end of the Damage Step. When this card destroys a monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon 1 "Arcana" monster, whose Level is equal to or lower then the destroyed monster, from your Deck in face-up Defense Position. Once per turn, you can select 1 Equip Spell Card from your Graveyard and equip it to this card. Negate the effects of all Equip Spell Cards equipped to this card. This card gains 500 ATK for each Equip Spell Card on it. If this card would be destroyed by battle, destroy 1 Equip Spell Card equipped to this card instead. After that, Special Summon 1 Level 3 or lower "Arcana" monster from your hand. Once per turn, during your Standby Phase, you can add 1 Equip Spell Card from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. Also, when a "Arcana" monster is Special Summoned you can select 1 Equip Spell Card from your Graveyard and equip it to the Special Summoned monster. If your opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters, you can Normal Summon or Set this card without Tributing. When this card is Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 Level 2 or lower "Arcana" monster from your hand. When a "Arcana" monster is added from your Graveyard to your hand, you can Special Summon that monster. While you control a face-up "Arcana" monster other than "Lucan, Medic of the Arcana", this card cannot be attacked. When a "Arcana" monster you control is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, you can return that monster to its owner's hand. When this card is Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 "Crusader of the Arcana" monster from your Deck whose Level is equal to or lower than the number of monsters in your Graveyard. If you control another "Arcana" monster when this card is Special Summoned, draw 2 cards. This card gains 300 ATK for each Equip Spell Card on the field. As long as you control this face-up card, Equip Spell Cards you control are not destroyed when the equipped monster is destroyed. Once per turn, you can discard 1 card to select 1 Equip Spell Card you control and equip it to 1 monster on the field. You can remove from play this card in your Graveyard to Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Arcana" monster from your Graveyard. When a monster is Normal or Special Summoned, halve its Level (rounded down). When a "Arcana" monster you control attacks, if its Level is lower then the Level of attack target, the attacking monster gains 1000 ATK during damage calculation only. Pay 800 Life Points and select up to 2 Level 4 or lower "Arcana" monsters in your Graveyard. Add them to your hand. Remove from play up to 2 "Arcana" cards from your Graveyard. Destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card for each card that was removed from play by this effect. Equip only to a "Arcana" monster. It gains 700 ATK. If the equipped monster would be destroyed by battle, destroy this card instead, and make the Battle Damage to the controller of the equipped monster 0. When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard by a card effect, Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Arcana" monster from your Graveyard. Equip only to a "Arcana" monster. When it attacks, destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card at the end of the Damage Step. When this card is in your Graveyard, you can send the top card of your Deck to the Graveyard to Equip this card to 1 monster your opponent controls. It loses 800 ATK and cannot attack. If you use this effect, this card is removed from play when it is removed from the field and your opponent draws 1 card. Equip only to a "Arcana" monster. Place 3 Arcana Counters on this card. When the equipped monster is selected as an attack target, remove 1 Arcana Counter from this card to negate the attack. After that, Special Summon 1 "Knight Token" (Warrior-Type/LIGHT/Level 4/ATK 1300/DEF 1100) on your opponent's side of the field. When there are no Arcana Counters on this card, this card is destroyed. Activate during a turn when a "Arcana" monster you control was destroyed. During your next Draw Phase, if you draw a Monster Card, you can Special Summon it and 1 monster that was destroyed last turn. If you drew a Spell or Trap Card, you can send it and 1 card in your hand to the Graveyard to Special Summon up to 2 "Arcana" monsters from your hand. Activate only when you control a "Arcana" Tuner monster and your opponent controls 3 or more monsters. You can use up to 2 monsters your opponent controls with the lowest Level to Synchro Summon a "Arcana" monster. You cannot Normal Summon or Set the turn you use this effect. I still believe there are issues with the cards in terms of balancing so comments are appreciated.
.:Traceur:.
hmmm...the cards are nice...just they are not original with that i mean that you take some ideas and names from the Arcane Force monsters...the ocg is nice...card pics are good...overall:7/
Killey
*Bump* I've completely revamped the cards from before. The theme use to revolve around a Counter system but I've scrapped that and made more applicable effects. Added more Tuner/Synchros and retrained the support cards. I'm rather concerned about the balancing because the regular monsters in the theme provide for fast field swarming with some pretty good effects. Bedivere's effect borderlines overpowered at the moment, in my opinion, and I'm trying to think of a different way to balance his effect out. Amber Temperance's effect may also be a bit much and can create OTK scenarios but on some very specific conditions.

Radiant F.U.R.Y.™
you should consider changing the names sof your synchro's to avoid confusion with the arcana force series of cards...I mean, you nand I know the difference...but not everyone else will overall, very nice no OCG problems that I can see just glancing through pics are very nice 9.8/
Killey
I suppose changing the names would help prevent confusion but I originally developed these cards as the succession to the Arcana Force monsters since I had a fan fic in mind at the time. Anyways, I appreciate that someone actually commented on these cards. Still would appreciate some in depth comments from anyone at this point. I've changed the focus of the cards to an aggro/control strategy with support for Equip Spell Cards with field swarming.
Killey
*Bump* New cards added. I'm starting to think that keeping the tuner on the field may open up for some abuse even though they can't be used to Synchro Summon again. Any opinions on that or am I just overthinking things? At the very least I think I should add the clause that you can only control 1 "xxxxx, Crusader of the Arcana" since the Synchros protect them from being attacked. EDIT: Ultimately, I've decided to add in the clause that you can only control 1 "xxxxx, Crusader of the Arcana" just because I saw some potential abuse with that. AKC
Can't really understand why not many people are responding to this thread as these cards are fantastic. I like the fact that it is a mixed Element Deck instead of using typical DARK or LIGHT elements. You may not get the benefits of the support cards for those elements but it looks like the theme can carry it's own without them. Plus, the theme can take advantage of anti-meta tech cards like Light Imprisoning Mirror and Dark Imprisoning Mirror with little-to-no impact on yourself. The deck looks to have some really good card combos to maintain field presence with the special summons that could lead to quick Synchros allowing you to control the pacing of the match. I'm concerned at how fast this deck works though as it could become overpowered. Good idea on keeping the tuner on the field to prevent field swarming with synchros to lock out your opponent from everything. As you said at best you can get 2 on the field and only lock down 2 aspects of your opponents game. Nice job on the rulings for Direga as I would have commented that he was overpowered if you could continuously use his effect. The ice tokens has good combos with some other cards so they remain dead on the field if you can't get out his Synchro. Crimson Magician's effect seems overpowered to me as it would let you reuse cards like Lightning Vortex with no costs like Diamond Dude's effect. Hierophant's stats seems a bit high for a level 5 monster that can replenish your field though it seems like a really good card to prevent OTK's from your opponent. Bedivere initially seems overpowered but I'm not sure about this yet. It requires you to fill up your deck with Equip Spell Cards and Equip Spell Cards aren't that good to begin with. A drop to 0 is pretty significant but I think he's less offensive then Blackwing - Gale of the Whirlwind who is a ridiculous card as is. 100 less ATK then Gale who can't SS itself and isn't a tuner. Pitching 1 Equip Spell form your Deck seems too easy of a cost that deck thins by 1 and fuels other effects in your theme. He's on the edge of being broken. Not sure if I like the combo of Galahad and Lucan it has potential to be overpowered. At least you can't take advantage of this combo with Card of Safe Return since it SS's from the hand not the graveyard. I really like Euphemia's effect since it's really original. The Moon seems like a really interesting tech card as it would screw up everyone's Synchro Summons but the other effect might be too much as it lets you carry the theme without synchro summons through beat down strategies. Arcana Barrier's effect seems questionable to me. I like the originality of it but I don't think it's as big of a double edge sword as you think. Since you SS the tokens to your opponents field you can put them in defense position and prevent the tokens from attacking on that turn. Then on your turn you can synchro summon the tokens. Great images that are pretty consistent with each other. Good effects that need to be balanced a bit more. Overall, a 8/10 from me.
Killey
Wow, someone actually took the time to make an in depth post on the theme. Much appreciated and you have been rep'd as promised. Yes, very good observation of the mixed element theme. I'm sick of everyone making Dark/Light monsters so I'm breaking the mold and going for a mix attribute deck that aims to take down the meta with new tactics and new control mechanics. Essentially I can tech in light/dark mirrors to lock out my opponent's effects while having no impact to my theme much like the other successful meta Gladiator Beasts. Although I like keeping the tuner on the field I'm not sure if that's for the best as it could lead to abuse with the tuner's effects. I am thinking about changing Crimson Magician's effect as well since it's rather unoriginal and potentially more abusable then Destiny Hero - Diamond Guy but the saving grave is the more specific Tuner/Synchro requirements and essentially the card is only useful within it's contained theme. Very good analysis of Bedivere and I've been mulling that over myself as well. I guess I could make the discard Equip to be from the hand only but that is an incredibly big nerf to him. I could change it to halve the ATK but then it's a worse version of Gale. The synergy between Galahad and Lucan is specific and during deck building requires a good amount of thought into making it consistent. I understand the potential for abuse but and I'll have to do some testing (I'll be making a YVD set of these cards and test them against meta decks) and see how that works. Yeah, I'm trying to make Arcana Barrier a double edged Sword that's useful but the more I tweak it the more it becomes a useless card and gives more advantage to the opponent. Any suggestions on balancing the card but making it useful as well?

Discourag3d
OCG is pretty good. I don't think I saw any cards to overpowered. Arcana isn't all that original but I like the way you put more thought then just having it be overpowered knock-off cards. The pictures are very well done. No doubt 9.5/10 :D

Killey
*Bump* New cards added. I've altered the effects of multiple cards after doing some play testing in YVD. Direga's original effect was broken as it was a constant giant trunade despite the rulings I gave it so I've changed the effect altogether to make it more balance. Some minor balancing tweaks to Bedivere though it's possible he will undergo more changes later on as testing progresses. Pearl Moon has been altered to only work when the Level is lower rather than equal to or lower. As it was before it could carry the theme without the Synchros and that can't be allowed. Celadon Hierophant is too easy to get out and I think I'll have to rework it's balancing later on but as it stands the other synchros aren't as easy to get out and Hieropahnt stops a lot of OTK strategies cold. Removed Galahad as further research into the Knights of the Round mythos has inspired a new idea for me. Plus his effect didn't suit his role as being the founder of the Holy Grail. I'll be retraining Crimson Magician's effect as the last effect is too powerful in the right builds.

Killey
Originally, I had created these cards as sort of a successor to the Arcana Force monsters but the effects have continuously evovled since conception so I really should change the name of the theme.
