Armitael, Phantasm of Chaos

Fiend/Fusion/Effect

"Uria, Lord of Searing Flames" + "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder" + "Raviel, Lord of Phantasms"

This card cannot be Special Summoned from your Extra Deck except by removing from play the above cards on your side of the field. (You do not use "Polymerization"). This card cannot be destroyed by battle. While this card is face-up on the field, it gains 10000 ATK during your turn only.

The summoning requirement is what really brings him down. That, and the fact that he can still be destroyed by effects, sent to the top of deck, and removed from play. And his effect isn't even that great.

It's a -11 if you Summon it via the intended method, and even if you use triple Phantom of Chaos, it's still a -2 that requires ludicrously large amounts of setup. 10000 ATK is often sufficient for a game-winning assault, but since this only comes with protection from battle, the opponent can still easily respond.

Prisma > PoC here

Prisma doesn't work with Inferno Reckless Summon, so just getting three of him on the field is itself insanely difficult.

Both methods are not worth the effort.

This card was completely broken from the moment it was shown on the actual show. This card has no potential threat unless they clear your field completely, otherwise, your pretty much fine. And a Kuriboh would be a total piss off. What would be worse though, would be a Kuribon and a Bad Reaction. Use that, and your opponent just lost 1 hell of a lot of life points.

That's not what Bad Reaction does.

Kuribon

Fairy

If your opponent's monster declares this card as an attack target, you can return this card to your hand to reduce all Battle Damage from that battle to 0. The controller of the monster targeted by this card's effect gains Life Points equal to that monster's ATK

300ATK 200DEF

My bad. That's duel.

DANG IT PIKA!

Anyway...... Armitael is like the ultimiate frankenstien card. I still find it funny how Uria's head became one of it's weapons.

well it beats the -11 it takes to summon him the normal way.

if you have some genius method of summoning Armitael quickly, I'll make a deck around it

1 questions... i have a monster with ? atk points. he doesn't recieve his boost. He attacks a monster with 0 atk points... who wins? me and my friend debated... i said they were both equal to 0 so both die. he said ? wins because it's not a number...

its too bad theres that fusion summon limit... if there wasn't you could've used summoner of illusions or Cyberstein...
