Guest PikaPerson01
BTW, C/D means "confirm or deny". In a similar vein, you can express your reasoning for your thoughts or whatever. I don't care. Confirm.

Akira
Agreed, I very rarely find myself reaching for Solemns when I build decks these days, they are just suicide and pretty useless against the current meta threats. For example, Blackwings - halve LP to stop 1 card of many that they are going to swam with is laughable. Same goes for LS, Solemn would only be remotely useful at stopping a JD or possibly Celestia hit, but that will just bring them closer to gaming you next turn anyway. They are possibly the most useful against GB's because they can stop Gyzarus and Herak, but the problem there is that the GB player is likely to respond with their own Solemn anyway, or will be protected under Cold Wave. So yeah. The last time I ran them was in Counter Gadgets =/

Azuh
Even though half the people will say its "confirmed", at least everyone will still run 3's of it. Why? Its an extremely powerful card and can help to change the situation I'm neutral on this, as there are some times where its overrated, while other times, can save your ass

Guest PikaPerson01
I had forgotten that you were a GP' date=' Pika.[/quote'] They use that NGG? 0_o I don't frequent it as often, because I found myself falling for their trolling too easily back when I was a nublet. I stick to CE more. It's much funnier. ^_^ Even though half the people will say its "confirmed"' date=' at least everyone will still run 3's of it. Why? Its an extremely powerful card and can help to change the situation[/quote'] I don't run 3. It's cost is too high in a meta where most of the super powerful cards don't creep up as often. I mean, they still creep up and what not, but most decks this meta can come back from losing one card. I'm neutral on this' date=' as there are some times where its overrated, while other times, can save your ass[/quote'] This is no time for neutrality! This card is use full in many decks and if its not then your using it wrong. I mean whats a measly 4000 lp to stop something like DAD or JD? GenzoTheHarpist
Not overrated at all. Every build where i've proxied solemn but had to remove it was much better with than without.
tonisanoob
in all honestly the only thign letting solemn down this meta is dark strike fighter, and obscene antics with blackwings which is why bottomless trap hole is preferred(at least as far as ive seen)
werewolfjedi
confirm I've never liked solemn, I always found it's cost far to high, and most decks that win these days won't be stopped by it anyway. I mean, with the way it is now, solemn has lost it's use, to stop otk's, where the big otk problem is more or less gone. I mean, when I get people who try to solemn my endymion, (monster, not field spell.), and then I just bring it right back, they just wasted both the card and their life points for nothing. this is a meta where cards that support each other better than they have been before. before it was more like, "well, these work good together, lets see what I can do with this." now it's gone back to, " ok, now I need to remember to use _____ because it fits in the theme, and all my support stuff works with it." thats why glad beasts are coming back, why lightsworn are still strong, and why blackwings are strong. they are meant to work together. even non-named themes are stronger now, like spell counter decks, (namely because of the SD that came out, but...) mill decks, all sorts of stuff is coming out of the woodwork at my locals and such now that tele-dad is broken. RyanAtlus
Solemns are great against burn x_x Personally, I find Solemns very annoying, for I'm a Staller and I don't give a funking sheet about their LP. CONFIRMO
Static
Confirm With Dark Strike Fighter and a vast amount of two turn win decks floating around, it really isn't as useful as it used to be. It's too likely to set you up for a loss for it to be worth running. It can work in the right build's, decks that are lackluster on protection, but it should not be thrown into decks as easily as people seem to this meta.
