Mr.WHAM
@Tenta Aside from Naruto's mother, there shouldn't have been any known (by the fans) Uzamakis in Konoha. But Kurenai is a Red-Eyes.@ RoxasI would utterly laugh if she was a Haruno, the irony of the situation, coupled with the logic you just presented makes that a very tantalizing idea. Also I never thought of Obito like that so would you care to explain it some more. I think hough, I may end up agreeing with you.
Merci
Oh yeah, about the chapter...since when did we transition into a horror story filled with gore? ....... It was awesome. But I wonder what Kakashi's reaction would be when he wakes up?

Mr.WHAM
No the last page definitely helps drive the point home because think that's what Obito does at the end, forget who they really are or something. It's like they become a jumbled distorted mess in his memories. This also really does pose a case for Obito being Naruto's somewhat inverse.- He knowlingly comes from a talented clan and constantly wanted to met their standards.- He lost himself instead of losing his family.- He gained his skills/power up through anguish and not work brought about because of anguish.- His mentor was old and despondent while Jiraiya is full of life and optimism- The Uchiha and Uzamaki can be considered rival clans.- They have similar influence but different manifestations of will.ETC And I need to make this point, is it me or does the Uchiha clan seem to be filled with people who have pessimistic/dark/morbid/depressing outlooks upon life/people? Merci
The Uchiha Clan is like that because they're treated like that; lower, despite being greater. This was the point that Madara had been trying to convince the rest, but nobody believed him and wanted to continue the peace, so he went and ran away. They're just bitter people. They always have been, even after the peace.
Monkey
Interesting to see how Kakashi and Obito unlocked the MS at the same time. Is it because they both lost someone close to them or because if one eye activates, the other has to activate as well? What if Rin was a spy for Amegakure and Kakashi figured that out so he killed her? That would explain why the Ame Shinobi wanted her body. Obito went ape s*** And @Roxas about the Bloody Mist title: didn't that title come from the fact that the Mist Chuunin exams forced two genin to fight to the death? FTW (For The Wynn)
I'm just wondering how he was able to master his dimension abilities that quickly - I mean, he literally started to use flawless space-ninjutsu moments upon awakening the Mangeky...Simple enough. He probably didn't even know he was doing it. He probably hasn't noticed that he activated the Mangekyo. I don't think Kakashi noticed either, which explains why he never used it before Shippuden. And I enjoyed them both activating it at the same time as well, but they activated it at the same time because they both saw her die, and apparently Kakashi still felt she was close to him. So, I am going to make a bold prediction right now. [spoiler=My Prediction]Rin tells Kakashi to kill her for some reason that involves the Mist ninja. Legend Zero
[spoiler OR!]Rin went depression mode after Obito "died" and betrayed the village. But I don't like this theory, makes me sad. please don't be true q.q
Phantom Roxas
And @Roxas about the Bloody Mist title: didn't that title come from the fact that the Mist Chuunin exams forced two genin to fight to the death? Yes, but that particular part of the exam was introduced under Yagura's time as the Mizukage.
❤ Lovely Warrior ❤
Wait Kakashi killed Rin? ... I need to catch up, I haven't read Shippuden since Naruto defeated Pain (which whould have made a perfect end to the series if you ask me). Phantom Roxas
The battle with Pain was indeed quite awesome, but left too many threads untied. Ignoring the fact that Nagato ended up not being the leader of Akatsuki, you still have Sasuke running around and being evil, which is one of the primary motivators of Part II. FTW (For The Wynn)
Not to mention that half of the Akatsuki still existed at the time, and that they were building towards the Kage Summit immediately afterwards.

FTW (For The Wynn)
If she was a Senju, that would explain why she was being sought by Kiri even after she died. However, I think the whole betraying Konoha fits better right now.
Kakashi Hatake
I doubt that it'll be something as drastic as Rin being Senju but I guess it's entirely possible. but this last chapter has definately kicked Naruto up a notch. I'd have to say that it's my current favorite manga. Kishi is really tying this sh*t down.
Strider Tigerwolf
And to think I actually doubted kishi...you know what? I'm just gonna keep my mouth shut about him+naruto in development from now on and just read the damn thing. Anyways, I do think Rin could be Senju/Uzumaki, + add the fact that she could have gained/had information about The Rain/The Flame Village(s) and her information as well as body would be a key factor in deciding not just a battle but a tremendous piece of the war. This would indicate why Kakashi had to kill Rin: To protect and keep those secrets from being exploited by the enemy. Unfortunately, his Mangyeko awakens...and he loses consciousness unable to keep up with the mission. Lucky for him, Obito goes on a rampage unknownly using his Mangyeko through-out the entire time. As for why Obitobi didn't use the "Senju" techniques in the present:Needed to keep a low profileWas acting under the name "Madara Uchiha"Those 2 reasons are actually more than enough to justify his not using the technique, and even then he only reveled that he had the power of the "Senju" running through him to those he "had to kill". Example: I don't blame the guy either for keeping his history secret from most. It's helped him get this far and now those secrets are starting to unravel and it's giving our good guys a fighting chance.

Kakashi Hatake
I would rather of Naruto ended back when part 1 ended, but whatever.Naruto has gotten much better since Shippuden. :T If Naruto ended back then, it would have felt like it was too soon because Sasuke had run away, Sakura was just starting to get serious and Naruto had just started training with Jiraiya. It would have been like Dragon Ball Z ending when everyone started training to fight Cell.
FTW (For The Wynn)
Well, Naruto was more childish and light-hearted before Shippuden. Mostly because most of the main characters were children. However, with Shippuden, it has been getting more and more intense as time goes on. It really picked up starting with Invasion of Pain. And now we are at the climax of the war.
