Tickle Me Emo Posted July 3, 2009 Report Share Posted July 3, 2009 I see why Plasma's in here but he doesnt seem to be more than a D-Draw target. the chances of getting both Plasma and Scapegoat are really like a 5% chance with both at one (1/40 for plasma, then 1/39 for Scapegoat), however theres also the fact that you start with 5 cards so in theory a 30% chance at best. Id say drop em both for... hmm... maybe a second tomato and... maybe neg the 2 Raigekibreak/PWWB and add 3 solemns. So overall -1 Plasma-1 Scapegoat-2 Raigeki Break/PWWB+1 Mystic Tomato+3 Solemn Judgment Thats how Id play it at least... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Akira Posted July 3, 2009 Author Report Share Posted July 3, 2009 I hate Solemn in Monarchs, it's never worked for me. Without Break or PWWB, I wouldn't have as many ways to pitch Mali outside of D-Draw or Frog/Spreader. Plasma mainly is just a D-Draw/Allure target as you said, but it can pack a punch if dropped at the right time and Scapegoat is a fine shield on it's own, despite being somewhat susceptible to current meta threats. Akira Posted July 8, 2009 Author Report Share Posted July 8, 2009 Right I did actually make edits to include Roars but haven't posted them yet. Basically, I dropped 1 Book of Moon and 1 Bottomless for 2 Roars in the main, then took out Breaker to make it a 40 card deck as he wasn't really that useful (he's in the side though). PWWB I really need as a way to discard Frog, Spreader or Malicious from hand they help so much, and personally I still find Raiza more useful atm as I can Roar to their Synchro flood then cut them down to size with Raiza next turn.
