There are 2 doors that talk. One always lies, and one always tells the truth. One leads to your death, the other to all the riches of the world. You don't know which one tells the truth and which one lies. You can only ask them both one question. How do you figure out which door to go through?

Niashi:

"Which door would the other tell me is safe?"

Truthful would point to bad door, because the lying door would say the bad door is the good door.

Liar would say the bad door, because it would say the truthful door would say whichever is the bad one.

Then you go through the other door, which must be the good one.

A woman has incontrovertible proof in court that her husband was murdered by her sister. Both the woman and her sister are before the Judge. The judge declares, "This is the strangest case I've ever seen. Though it's a cut-and-dried case, this woman before me cannot be punished." How can this possibly be?

That answer doesn't work at all. Think less badly. Remember that, depending on the setup, either both doors would call the other safe or neither would call the other safe; your question, asking for a single door, is completely meaningless.

An answer that will work is "If I were to ask you if you were safe, what would you answer?" If the door says "Yes", go through it; if the door says "No", go through the other.

They are Siamese twins or something similar.
