Fiend Deck Review

Recommended Posts

Because i play a great fiend deck, i thought i would review some tactics that can be used.

Some basic monsters you might find in a fiend deck would be:

Dark Necrofear

Raviel Lord of Phantasms

Great Maju Garzett

Dark Ruler Ha Des

Slate Warrior

Dark Necrofear is the core card of many fiend decks. It is summoned by removing 3 fiend monsters in your graveyard from play, so you pretty much have to have a fiend deck to play it. its effect allows it to take control of one of your opponent's monsters if they destroy it, so it is really useful.

Also, a Dark Necrofear Return Deck uses a strategy combining Dark Necrofear with Dimension Fusion or Return from the Different Dimension. You can remove 3 powerful monsters from play using DN's effect, then use Dimension Fusion to get them back onto the field for a powerful attack.

Raviel Lord of Phantasms is basically the most powerful, yet hard to summon, fiend type monster. By tributing a monster, you can increase his ATK by the ATK of the tributed monster to boost his power and do some serious damage. also, he can be used in conjunction with a Necrofear Return Deck. use Dimension fusion to get back 3 fiends, sac em for Raviel. Brilliant!

Great Maju Garzett is potentially the strongest Legal card in the game. His ATK is equal to 2x the original ATK of the tributed monster. extremely good for a level 6 monster. for example, if you sacrifice a simple La Jinn, he immediately has 3600 ATK!!! killa for a level 6! Also, it can be used with a Necrofear Return Deck with Raviel because you can summon Raviel and tribute him for GMG with 8000 ATK. i have seriously done this before.

Dark Ruler Ha Des has a great effect which allows it to negate the effects of Witch of the Black Forest, Sangan, Newdoria, and other monsters. this makes him very useful offensively.

Slate Warrior is perhaps the most powerful level 4 fiend monster. its effect allows it to have 2400 ATK, and when your opponent destroys it, your opponent's monster's ATK is decreased by 500. can be helpful when facing a monster with a high ATK power.

Some Powerful Ritual monsters include the Masked Beast (the strongest non-effect fiend type monster), Dark Master Zorc (which allows you to destroy opponent's monsters by rolling a die), Demise King of Armageddon (who destroys everything on the field), and Reshef the Dark Being (takes control of an opponent's monster for 1 turn.)

One card that powers fiend type monsters is Mystic Plasma Zone which boosts their ATK by 500 (because most are Dark).

Did you find this useful? Did you find it enlightening? tell me what you think.
