[spoiler=Why join?]I am making this thread as a concerned card maker... i have been, as a new member, scared of making normal cards... and that is wrong to say that they are horrible... for this club... i need mems who have the same feeling as i do! just fill out the club app and basically your in.

and just becuase it looks like the spots are full doesnt mean they are this is a never ending club!

Reason: Many young whipper snappers don't get that in the beginning, Kazuki Takahashi looked down from his pillar, and said onto the people...

 

"Let there be Vanillas".

 

And there was Vanillas. And they were respected.

 

And then the game evolved, and the producers said that they needed plot twists and weird things to happen, so they turned away from Kazuki Takahashi and said...

 

"We shall give birth to crazy combos and long listed descriptions. They will make the Vanillas look frail and worthless, and the mortals shall forget they were the first".

 

And so, hating flamers and noobs that know to little flame those who remember the old ways, and know that a deck with no Normals is a deck with creatures of just one color.

ditto, it would be more useful that way. Seriously when I make a vanilla card (like my internet memes) I make a reference to it. like Giant Enemy crab, lore, hits its weak point for massive damage, that is the effect it has

In the real card game, I actually made a normal monster deck. Out of the 22 monsters in it, ones a ritual, and 3 are effects. The more recent expansions actually made some cards to make normals likable again. That deck does kick *ehem* booty quite a bit. Plus it annoys nerds who are obsessed with effects.

 

Halfway through one match, this kid actually goes "God, why do you like normals so much?" I didn't really answer him then. Five minutes later I beat him and say "thats why I like normals".

 

BTW, 98% of all statistics are made up.

Hey I want to change my member name to Tenkage, is just sounds easier to remember. Also I agree with the normal deck, in fact I made a level 2 and under normal monster deck, the only effect monster, Chaos Necromancer but only for a final beat down strike. I owned at a card shop tournament, true story cross my heart and hope to die and all that
