Darkness has fallen. Mankind is no longer what it once was, even if they may appear so. Certain individuals have obtained abilities beyond those of normal men. One by one, these individuals have succumbed to their power, and fallen deeper into the darkness that is themselves and have caused casualties on both sides. They have gathered in one of the Lost Cities, just beyond the Asian borders. It is your mission to find and capture these individuals before they cause more destruction. You will be deployed in a few hours to a nearby location. Be ready for battle; as you very well know, the war is far from over.

 

In the path of a global nuclear war between the Atlantic Union and the Asian Confederacy, the only two countries remaining after the obliteration of almost ninety percent of the European and African landmass, humanity is bound to evolve. The war is constant, and not a day passes without an A-bomb or an H-bomb being dropped. Due to the continuous exposition to radioactivity, many have perished and the global inhabitant count is down to one billion - maybe less. Some however, have developed positive effects from their exposition; the Modified, as they are called. Estimations say that the Modified's numbers are as low as maybe twenty or thirty, and that only one of every million that succumb to the destruction can even slightly use it to their advantage. Usually, the Modified on both sides of this war are given front line positions, or wherever they can use their abilities the best. Four of them have grown significantly more powerful than the others, and fled their respective armies only weeks ago, to the city of Samarkand in southeastern Asia. The four of you have been chosen from our ranks as capturers. Be advised that the Modified are extremely dangerous.

 

Rules

All YCM rules apply, including the Advanced Clause. I will allow exactly 4 players to join this roleplay.

However, there will also be a true test for the dedicated roleplayers. Here, you will be given a chance to control the roleplay. You will have to fill out a second form - for one of the Modified. You will design your personal “rival” among the Modified, and I will give you a convenient backstory together. Should your character be killed or otherwise incapable of acting, you will be able to control your Modified character. Remember to act in character; you do not simply turn against the other Modified.

At this point, 3 slots have been reserved, and I am awaiting confirmation from a fourth.

 

In this RP, reserving a slot does not ensure that you will eventually play. However, it gives you priority. Your application will be considered before any non-reserved application.

Ah, damn. Starting this weekend, I will be on vacation for about a week, so even though I might have some internet access, I wouldn't be able to RP properly. Sorry Umbra, doesn't look like I can make it for this one.

The thread said you would be making backstories between the main character and the Modified character. I was just wondering when you plan on doing this.

 

I will eventually, and way before the RP starts. No worries.
