Rose Tentacles Deck

Recommended Posts

During a duel event, these were my stats:

Wins/Loses (Deck I Faced - Comments)

2-0 (LV Insects/Plants - Easy And Quick Win)

0-2 (Cat Synchro - Cold Waves Killed Me)

2-0 (Normal Monster Synchro - Odd Deck, Easy To Beat)

2-1 (Chimeritech Jinzo/Prime Material Dragon Control - Not Drawing "Black Garden" Killed Me On Duel 1)

0-2 (Gladiator Beasts - Glads Were Too Quick That I Couldn't Pull Off Any Basic Moves Of This Deck)

I got in the Top 8!

I have noticed that a lot of people have thought that "Rose Tentacles" is a bad card just because of the fact that it cannot be Special Summoned. Well, I thought about this card in a good way because of the other effect. I took it into consideration that this could be the beginning of a great Plant Burn Deck! With cards including, "Wall Of Ivy", "Evil Thorn", and "Seed Cannon"...these cards may not show off a lot of damage, but when combined, they cause devastating damage! The whole center of the deck are these two cards: "Rose Tentacles", and "Seed Cannon". Now just factor in the other cards in the deck and they make this idea go faster than you think! With "Allure Of Darkness", and "Fragrance Storm"...these two cards make drawing faster and factor in some good combos! A great combo I have created use these cards: "Black Garden", "Seed Cannon", "Mystic Tomato". If you can't figure that out, then something's wrong with you. And, not to mention, "Ivy Shackles" just gets the party started when I have "Rose Tentacles" on the field. I will tell you a scenerio I have pulled off on a friend of mine...and it's something I never thought I could do: I had one "Rose Tentacles" face-up, one "Wall Of Ivy" face-down, and one "Mystic Tomato" face-up, one "Ivy Shackles" face-up, and one "Rose Tentacles" in my hand. My friend had one defense position monster...that's it. I Flip Summoned my "Wall Of Ivy", giving him a token. I Tributed my "Wall Of Ivy" for my "Rose Tentacles" in my hand. In the Battle Phase, I attacked his defense position monster with "Mysic Tomato". Then, I attacked his token once with one of my "Rose Tentacles". Then, I attacked five times with just my "Rose Tentacles" for game. Now, you can't say that "Rose Tentacles" sucks. 'Cause that card is a beast!

...Just a suggestion but Bamboo Scrap creates a grand combination with Rose Tentacles. Bamboo Scrap summons I think 3 plant-type tokens onto your opponent's field at the small price of tributing a plant type monster. Just summon a week plant and tribute it and summon the tokens and have Rose attack them. I used the combination once before, I find it helps.

And is Allure of darkness really hard to find? I found 2 in my first 7 booster packs from the first 5D's Booster packs I ever got and 1 came with a tin. I suppose the tins do tend to give you less rare versions however.

Thanks for the suggestion. I might try it sometime. :)

Well, excluding the "Allure Of Darkness" you can get from the

Raging Battle Box, (Comes with 3 packs of Raging Battle and, either,

"Allure Of Darkness" or "The Dark Creator") then yeah,

"Allure Of Darkness" is really hard to get.
