Pikachu Returns: A few new cards!

[align=center]What's up Realistic card dwellers,

If you have no idea who I am, I'm Pikachu, a former professional in card making. Since I left during March-May 2009, I kind of forgot how to make cards. Now that I asked my old buddies how to do it, I made a few cards and have been recently hosting 1 on 1 contests to test out my skills. So far, it has been very successful, but that may end soon.

Winning contest might seem to be a lot, but the comments and suggestion made on a card is a lot more important. So I decided to make a thread with all my new cards. To be honest, I find them too simple. But that doesn't apply to everyone.

Anyways, feel free to rate my latest cards. I will update it when I make more or when I win another contest with a card.

Happy rating!

Darkfire Rider

Effect: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by sending 1 FIRE or DARK monster from your Hand to the Graveyard. This card cannot be attacked by any FIRE or DARK monsters. If this card is a target for 1 of your opponent's FIRE or DARK monster's effect, negate the effect. If this card is attacked by a WATER monster, flip a coin. If heads, negate the attack. If tails, decrease this card's ATK by 200 until your next Battle Phase. If this card is destroyed, destroy one of your opponent's Spell or Trap cards.

Lightning Warrior - Razor

Effect: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by discarding 1 LIGHT monster from your hand to your Graveyard. Once per turn, you may Special Summon 1 Thunder-Type monster from your hand or Graveyard. If you do, decrease your Life Points by 500. You may increase the Special Summoned monster’s ATK/DEF by 200 for every Thunder-Type monster on your side of the field (excluding the Special Summoned card). If you do, remove this card from play.

Ancient Guardian

Effect: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by Tributing 1 Warrior-Type Monster on your side of the field. This card can only be in Attack Position. If this card is switched to Defence Position by a card effect, destroy this card. When this card is being attacked, increase this card's ATK by 300 until the end of your opponent's turn. When 1 of your opponent's card effects target your Life Points, destroy this card instead. If you do, destroy one of your opponents face down Spell or Trap cards.

First, a couple OCG fixes:

Darkfire Rider:

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by sending 1 FIRE or DARK monster from you hand to the Graveyard. This card cannot be attacked by FIRE and DARK monsters. Negate the effect of your opponent's FIRE and DARK monsters that target this card. If this card is attacked by a WATER monster, flip a coin. If heads, negate the attack. If tails, decrease the ATK of this card by 200 until your next Battle Phase. If this card is destroyed, destroy 1 Spell or Trap card your opponent controls.

Lightning Warrior:

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by discarding 1 LIGHT monster. Once per turn, you can pay 500 Life Points to Special Summon 1 Thunder-type monster from your hand or Graveyard. You can remove from play this card to increase the ATK/DEF of the Special Summoned card by 200 for each other Thunder-type monster you control.

Ancient Guardian:

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned in Attack Position by Tributing 1 Warrior-type monster you control. This card's position cannot be changed except by a card effect. If this card is in Defense Position, it is destroyed. If this card is attacked, increase its ATK by 300 until the end of the turn. If an opponent's card effect targets your Life Points, you can Tribute this card to negate that effect. If you do, you can destroy 1 face-down Spell or Trap your opponent controls.

Alright, now.

I have a question. Discarding from the hand is different from sending from the hand. Did you mean the same for both Rider and Razor?

Secondly, Razor's effect to Summon any Thunder-type make him a tad OP. Perhaps you should make it have a level limit?

As for Guardian, is his last effect optional? Part of his effect implied it was mandatory, but then said "if you do", so I wasn't sure.

Anyhow, besides those few errors, great cards. 8/10

Thanks guys. And thanks Tainted, they sure are perfect. XD

And:

[b']Well, discarding is actually the same as sending, just different words. As long as it's forcing a card to go to the Graveyard, then that's good.[/b]

Ah, you see it has a 500 life point drawback. But I do agree, maybe I should put a level limit. Also, the 'If you do' part was talking about the second last effect. (So if I destroy Ancient Guardian instead, I destroy a Spell/Trap card. If I don't, then nothing happens.)

Thanks. You've been a great critic. ^_^

Actually, sending to the Graveyard and discarding are different. Since 'sending to the Graveyard' is a cost, it can't be completed if your opponent has a Dimensional Fissure, etc. Basically, a card is normally sent to the Graveyard when discarded, but discarding can be done even when there are cards that change where a card sent to the Graveyard goes.

And for Lightning Warrior - Razor? It seems overpowered, but so do all of the monsters that can Special Summon monster of x type from hand or Graveyard. Additionally, this card is weaker even than Il Blud (the weakest of the monsters in that group). Consider also that there aren't many Thunder-Type monsters, too. So I would say that you actually could remove the Life Point cost.

OK little OCG errors like:

Discarding from your hand? Is this a sarcasm? If you discard is from your hand :D

May = can

Warrior-Type Monster - Warrior-Type monster (Monster is only captalized in "Monster Card")

your side of the field - you control (Both are correct but "You control" is the new OCG, so I think it is better you use them, because peoples hare will correct you everytime )

Increase - gain (Again the new OCG)

Decrease - Lose (New OCG)

Now the effects:

1 card -

Pretty useful against meta decks like Blackwings :D

Picture is pretyy cool too

Rate - 8.7/10

2 card -

OP much? seriously, ANY thunder type monster make it super OP.

Pic is good, not so cool

Rate - 7.9/10

3 card -

Not bad :D. I like it.

Nice Image :D. Plase PM me it!!

Rate - 9.2/10

Cakey covered the discard/send rule. If it's sent, it has to reach its destination for the effect to work. Discarding is just discarding it anywhere.

Anyway, Cakey:

The fact that it can dig into the Deck is what pushes Razor to OP. There aren't that many great Thunder-types, but without a level limit it can be abused. Especially with the ATK increase. If anything, it should be 200 LP per level.
