The last one was 65 million years ago. We're overdue. By a million frickin' years. So techniaclly, the world could end in 2012. And no, the glass is half full, I am simply stating the facts. But because the freaking Mayan calender ends on 12/12/2012 (see how that plays out?), doesn't mean we will die. Other than ~JG~'s post (which isn't technically a pattern), the closest thing to us dying would be a freak asteroid, aliens, or the sun expanding to a point where the heat is too much. I just know that scientists have proven that, on that day, the black hole at the center of our galaxy, the Sun, and the Earth will line up in a straight line.
