"Elphin, attack Junk Warrior!" the BW flew towards JW and slashed threw it.

"Now Armor Master. Hit em fast and hard!" the synchro monster appraoched but Athrun used Scrap Iron to negate the attack.

 

"I'm not going down so easy." the slifer said.

 

"We'll see just how good you are Athrun. I'll end my turn there."

[Negimalevolent]

He goes off in search of Garnet again, to thank her... and... more importantly, to apologise for being so negative

[~Kefka~]

'I'll play the spell card Synchro Vortex! I have to remove from play synchro material monsters in my deck that have an equal level to the monster i wish to summon. So i'll remove, Speed Warrior, 2 Quillbolt Hedgehogs, and Nirto Synchron for a total of 8 stars."

 

"A level 8 Synchro monster?!" Joanna said. She was getting a bit worried.

 

"Prepare yourself! Synchro Summon, STARDUST DRAGON!!!" (2500) The dragon roared and Joanna grimaced.

 

"Now Stardust, attack Elphin!"

 

"Not so fast! I'll activate my Icarus Attack and tribute Elphin to destroy Stardust and Scrap Iron Scarecrow!" Athrun just smiled.

 

"Then i'll tribute Stardust to negate the trap card and destroy it!" Icarus attack shattered. "I'll end my turn there." Once the turn finished Stardust reappeared on the field.

[Naimo]

"Yeah, come on Athrun!" said Garnet as she continued watching. She could sense Luke was trying to find her, so she sent Hamster Warrior on a mission. The monster stopped in front of Luke. "Lukesan, Garnetchan is watching Athrunsan duel Joannachan."

[Negimalevolent]

"Oh, thank you, where are they right now then...?" He asks the hamster thingymibob... or that's what he'd say... not realy

[Naimo]

"Follow me Lukesan." He dragged Luke to where Garnet was crouched, and forced him down. Garnet gave Hamster Warrior thumbs up and as he disappeared, she pointed to the ongoing duel between Athrun and Joanna.

[Negimalevolent]

He nods "anyway, I wanted to say sorry for being so negative earlyer... but I can't since it was all and act to try to get you to hate me Garnet, two can play at that trick you played on me" he smiles

[Naimo]

Garnet grinned. "Oh you trickster! Before I know it, you'll end up using man's greatest invention to play pranks on us all." She saw Luke's face. "A marble, basically."

[Negimalevolent]

He laughs "yeah... but... I'm just glad we're still friends.... right... we are still friends right...?" he asks hopefully

[Naimo]

"Course," answered Garnet brightly. "Now shhh, we're running the main feature." She turned back to the duel.

[~Kefka~]

"My trun! Draw!" Joanna drew. "I'll play MST and take out Scrap Iron Scarecrow. Then i'll have Armor Master attack Stardust." Athrun was a bit confused.

 

"But they have the same attack. They'll both be destroyed." Joanna giggled.

 

"You need to study more. Armor Master attack!" The BW flew towards Stardust as the dragon fired. But Armor Master flew threw the blast and destroyed Stardust, coming out unharmed.

 

"What the?!" said Athrun who was dumbstruck.

 

"Armor Master can't be destroyed in battle and any battle damage i take is reduced to 0."

 

"Damn it!"

 

"Next i'll activate the spell card Sonic Boom. Now i remove 1 BW in my hand from play, then you'll take damage equal to your destroyed monsters attack." Athrun grimaced as the powerful blast knocked him off his feet.

Joanna: 3700

 

"That's all for me Athrun. Let's see how you get out of this."

[Negimalevolent]

"thanks" he goes back to watching the duel, he wanted to hug her, but was afraid of what she'd do to him for that

Athrun drew his card. If he didn't pull it off here...."I'll activate my Pot of Greed." He drew 2 cards. "Nice! Now comes Monster Reborn!" Joanna just smriked.

 

"Lemme guess. Stardust?" The slifer just smiled.

 

"You wish. Come forth, Junk Warrior!" (2300) Joanna was questionable.

 

"Why him?"

 

"Just you wait and see." said Athrun taking another card from his hand. "Next i'll call forth my Turbo Rocket! (0) and since i control a tuner i can special summon Turbo Booster!" (0)

 

"2 monsters with 0 ATK and DEF?" Joanna thought. "What's he up to?"

[Naimo]

"Knowing my brother, he's got something up his sleeve," mumbled Garnet. She was immersed into the duel; very immersed.

[Negimalevolent]

"i used to use a deck like that... but I don't know what hes planning at all..."

[~Kefka~]

"Now that i got 3 stars you'll see what i can really do! Turbo Booster and Turbo Rocket. synchro summon, TURBO CANNON!!!" (0)

 

"A Synchro with no atk or def?" she asked aloud, Athrun just smirked.

 

"Don't judge a book by it's cover, becuase now i'll activate his effect. I can destroy 1 monster on the field and do damge to your LP's equal to half the destroyed monsters attack." Joanna's eyes widened.

 

"What?!"

 

"Turbo Cannon, destroy Armor Master!" The BW synchro was blasted from the field but Turbo Cannon and Joanna's LP's fell by 1250.

 

Athrun: 450

Joanna: 2450

 

"Not bad, but i'm not down yet. Junk Warrior doesn't have enough to finish me off." she said.

 

"Not yet at least, becuase now i activate my Synchro Charge trap card." Athrun stated. "I'll have to remove from play 1 Synchro monster in my graveyard, but then 1 Synchro monster on my feild gains the attack of the removed monster. So in short, Junk Warrior will gain Stardust's attack points!" Junk Warrior had a red aura glow from around him and suddenly the energy burst and made Junk Warrior a fire red.

 

"Darn it!" cursed Joanna.

 

"Junk Warrior, finish her off! SCRAP FIST!!!" Athrun's duel spirit leapt into the air and fired his fist at the Obelisk. Joanna was hit head on and her LP's dropped to 0.

"Wait... if this played out like I heard on my ERR... then... why did Joanna say Darn it... if she loves him...?"

[~Kefka~]

Joanna went down on both knees "Darn it. That's the first time anyone got around Armor Master." she said looking up at him. "Good job." Athrun looked down and smiled.

 

"Thanks. You were amazing." Joanna smiled as Athrun helped her up.

 

"Well, you beat me fair and square. Looks like we're dating now! :)" she smiled, but Athrun looked at her puzzled.

 

"Even if i lost, you were still gonna go out with me weren't you?" Joanna just smiled and moved closer to him.

 

"You talk too much." she said and kissed him on the lips.

"then again... I have been known to misjudge some things...... only now I feel jealous... too jealous..."

[Naimo]

Garnet immediately pulled out a cylinder whistle and blew in it, producing a wolf whistle. She wondered whether she should take a leaf out of Athrun's book and finally admit her love to Greg...

he looks at garnet in a funny way "...What the heck is that thing, a wolf caller? You honestly carry some wierd stuff with you..."

[~Kefka~]

"Athrun do you know....." The Slifer nodded.

 

"I know they said don't sell anything while we were here, but spying isn't nice either sis, and i know your there too Luke." he said breaking away from her for a second.

[Naimo]

Garnet grinned as she stepped out. She put the whistle away. "Oh come on, I'd find out sooner or later. And anyway, that duel was kick ass."

[Negimalevolent]

he steps out too "I agree, but if anything the outcome was something I wanted to look away from, because I only felt one thing... Jealousy... you're lucky Athrun... real lucky..."

[~Kefka~]

"Heheh, thanks." he said while he wrapped his arms around Joanna. "So, when are you gonna tell Greg about how you feel?" he asked with curiosity.
