What if Yugimanz, was like Pokemanz?

[align=center]What I'm trying to say is, that if there was a side game apart from the original where Attribute Advantage and Type Advantage would exist

For example, for Attribute Advantage, when a WATER monster you control would attack an opponents monster with a FIRE Attribute, your WATER monster will gain 1000 ATK during that damage calculation only. Heres a possible chart on what wins over what:

For another example, for Type Advantage, when a THUNDER-TYPE monster you control would attack an opponents monster with an AQUA-TYPE, your Thunder-Type monster will gain 500 ATK during that damage calculation only. Heres a possible chart on what wins over what:

So, lets just say if you control Black Feather - Gale of the Hurricane which is a DARK-Attibute, Winged-Beast monster, it can have a possible 1000 ATK over any LIGHT-Attribute, a possible 500 ATK over any Insect-Type and a possible 1500 ATK gain over any LIGHT-Attribute Insect-Type monster, such as Magical Merchant

How would the game play change? What cards will become meta in this game? Discuss

They did something like this in the PS1 game 'Forbidden Memories'. Each monster had 2 Celestial Symbols to choose from (named after the planets, Sun, and Moon). You got to pick the symbol you wanted when the monster was Summoned. If one monster battled another and its symbol had an advantage over the opposing monster, it gained 500 ATK and DEF during the Damage Step.

Now, a separate topic of discussion on the same topic. Pokemon have various attacks with different damage and different special effects. To apply this to Yugimanz, the following can be stated:

A monster cannot activate an Ignition effect during the same turn it attacks, or vice versa.

GOGOGO

The meta would stay the same. It's the Anti-Meta that profits the most of this. And there would be new usable tech with each meta.

That's not how to create a new topic o.0

Srsly, make a topic about it.

Azuh, your type chart needs to be bigger.

Rock would be Thunder

Thunder would also defeat Sea Serpent, Fish, and Winged Beast.

Dragons would be weak to Warrior

Spellcasters would be weak to Dragon.

Insect beating Machine... Maybe

Machine would beat Warrior and Thunder

Aqua would beat Machine
