Captain Lawless
Looking back through some of these pages proves my point even more; You can't prove or disprove anything, it's all faith, whether you're believing it exists orthat it doesn't exist. You'll never know til you die. kinda. My point is, trying to find out is stupid.Telling someone they're wrong is stupider.Driving drunk is the stupidest. Flame Dragon
There is absolutely no chance of there ever being a divine creature or deity. There is no solid rock evidence' date=' and believing that a deity created the universe is just childish.[/quote'] :/ NEVER, IN A DEBATE ABOUT RELIGION AND SCIENCE, SAY THAT THERE IS NO CHANCE. ALWAYS USE "LOW CHANCE", "IRRATIONAL", OR SOMETHING ALONG THOSE LINES. BECAUSE SOLID EVIDENCE HAS NOT BEEN FOUND FOR EITHER SIDE OF THE DEBATE, IT WILL NEVER BE A "NO CHANCE" ISSUE. There is obviously a chance that God exists. OBVIOUSLY. What atheists choose to believe is that there are other, more rational options for things we cannot explain, like the creation of the universe. The reason God is irrational is because there is no proof of a supreme being who can, so to speak, do everything. As stated before, there are holes in the theory of God. But you can never say God DOES NOT exist. Because you are inadvertantly saying you have proved Gods non-existance. God does not exist, and there is no possibility of him actually existing. Well, besides subjectively and in story books. Can you prove He does not exist? I am still an atheist, but that will be your opposition when you blatantly assume God does not exist. I can't prove that gravity exists. But common sense kind of suggests that it does. You drop something. The reason it drops is a force we know as gravity, so their I have proven it exists. How do you know aliens aren't living in the earths core and using high powered vacuumes to pull things to the surface? So they're doing that though the whole universe? Those most be damn strong vacuumes Nope. There are aliens in every planet. And the sun? And black holes? Also are you ignoring the fact that to be in those the gravity would crush them. Plus they vacuums would need to be damn strong since the force of gravity can be felt millions of miles from the object from which the froce is coming from. Hell if you were in the center of the earth you would melt. Also for an alien race to have spread thought the universe like that is more irrational then believing in god. Their is also the fact that they would have had to come from some planet, so how could they have evolved on said planet if it is impossible for their to have gravity since they weren't their to create it on the grounds that they were still developing. Just because there are some holes in a theory doesn't mean it's NOT true. Haha. See what I did there? The theory is one big hole. Gravity has been around since before the big bang so for these aliens to be the reason their is gravity they would have been alive all the way back then, which just can't be. That is unless they were some god. Yes, I see what you did their, but wouldn't it have been easier to say you can't prove x monster doesn't exists so that means their is a chance that they could be real. And now we come back to what I've been saying all along, if their isn't a god where did the energy come from that cause the big bang? In the end though I agree with (zer0) Discord, if you can't prove something one way or the other it comes down to some form of faith to see what you believe. All I'm saying, is that maybe the energy has always existed. I guess that you could say that God has always existed, but I personally don't believe in a judgement after death based on your Mortal actions. It seems pointless and faulty. In which case, God's existence wouldn't even matter, so it's pointless to believe in his existence. Everything doesn't have to be created to exist. Dark
If God was real, why did he create 8 other planets which don't contain life, and create a universe along with Earth without life?
