Another SaTuRnPaLaDiN ROS Sneak Peek - and it's a Naruto card this time!

Howdy everyone,

 

I thought that I would give YCM another sneak peek of my 1000 card set. This time, I'll show you a Naruto card - and it has a LOT of text to it. This works off the Spirit Counter mechanic (that was shown in my Bleach Sneak Peek). I think that the effect of this card captured its effect in the anime quite accurately. Without further ado:

 

CARD EFFECT

When this card is activated, place 1 Green Spinich Pill Counter, 1 Yellow Curry Pill Counter, and 1 Red Chili Pill Counter on this card. Once per turn, select 1 face-up monster you control and remove 1 counter from this card. The selected monster cannot be used for a Tribute Summon or Synchro Summon. Apply the appropriate effect based on the counter removed:

o Green Spinach Pill: Increase the ATK of the selected monster by 1000 and place 1 Spirit Counter on it. The selected monster cannot attack this turn.

o Yellow Curry Pill: Increase the ATK of the selected monster by 2000 and place 2 Spirit Counters on it. You take half the Battle Damage inflicted to your opponent by this monster.

o Red Chili Pill: Increase the ATK of the selected monster by 3000 and place 4 Spirit Counters on it. Destroy the selected monster during the End Phase and you take damage equal to twice its original ATK.

Anyways, it's an excellent card. It's balanced and original. Only REAL problem I noticed is that you spelled Spinach wrong. :P

This actually does fit the anime effect extremely well. However.

Oh, and for those who care:

 

Once the pills are all gone, the card still stays on the field. You're basically carrying around an empty case, so it's a dead card on the field. You could use it for Hamon if you wanted...

It's the mechanic for the anime cards. I posted a Bleach Sneak Peek set not that long ago that uses the mechanic. Spirit Counters are like Spell Counters for Warriors, basically.
