One day at the age of 16, his father and him were having their dinner and the Kazekage's elite troop of ninjas pursued them, braking in to the house and imprisoned his father after finding out that he had been a secret assassin. Saizen did care and love his father even thought he had been a murderer, and got himself turned against the Kazekage in rage and anger when he heard about his father's execution and tried to stop it, failing by getting stopped his own self by the guards of the public execution and forced to watch his father's deathscene. The next day after that, he was send to a mission with his team, ended up killing them all at night they rested at the cave in the middle of the desert and escaped, wondering around the 5 lands. He then encountered Tasaki Uchiha, tried to kill her after she had asked to join with her group, defeated and finally listening to Tasaki's words, accepting the offer and finally joining the Akatsuki and investigated more of the skilled water and fire jutsus, and also got his hands on the legendary rare Samehade sword, and right now is fielding it.

His most famous crime by now was the murder of the previous Kazekage who had commented his father's murder, which didn't still satisfy him. He has got used to the murderous and life of a criminal, like his father.

 

 

Extra: The Samehade-sword (Kisame's sword), specialized in powerful Suiton-jutsus and has mastered one-hand sign technique he learned from his father so is able to perform jutsus with just one hand(like Haku).
