Rook Bishop
Thanks! Normal Cards are sometime fun to create because instead of putting some effect you are putting time in telling about them and are molding them in your image. regalsword65
I think the text on vanillas tell the story of the card. Its just for fun. You can come up with anything you want. In an effect, you have to make it to where its balanced and has no OCG errors, etc.

Jolta
The Golem isn't a vanilla! It needs a cool effect.

DMZ
Why do people hate vanilla cards anyway? I think they are cool, whether home-made or in TCG. The Anime series also used vanilla cards like epic stuff :). Like Blue Eyes White Dragon, I don't see anyone flaming that.....
GHawk
People hate vanilla cards because most people like to see effects on cards. Effects that change the outcome of the duel. Most vanilla cards dont have that high of an ATK or DEF. Most othe time vanill card's ATK is around 1800 ATK / DEF. Now, if a vanilla card has a good equip card to go with it people will like the overall of the vanills card because of the equip card. Now about the blue eyes white dragon. People, like myself, like that card because its a 8 star 3000 ATK and 2500 DEF card. Yes I know its a vanilla card but because it has a high ATK peopl like it. People also like blue eyes white dragon becaus its used for a powerful fusion, blue eyes ultimate dragon. Which can be offered to summon blue eyes shining dragon. Another powerful card. But with Shining dragons effect it just makes it stronger. Thats mainly why you never see people haten on blue eyes white dragon.
Rook Bishop
That statement is true. Some normal monster are hated because they fusion or go with cards that people really like. Another example is the Exodia pieces which are normal expect for the head and can summon Necross. He also goes so well with other cards.
Vailan
It is just dangerous to make vanillas here... Like my sig says, I stand up for those who make them. There should be something like a Vanilla Defense League, to stand up for the members who make vanillas. Their cards are always flamed because they are vanilla. I don't like that. By rewarding them, and by standing up for them, I hope that people create more vanillas. Vanillas forever!

I sure anyone of us will glad to help you make a set of normal cards or just a few that can be combine in a set. Its not so much that... if I wanted a set done, like that... I'd make a contest or something. The set I make has to follow my own guidelines, while leaving breathing and learning room for each person to make their own unique thing; without following this strictly. EDIT: Don't get me wrong though. Your gesture is very much appreciated. I nearly cried.
