800 damage to your opponent during each of your turns card!!!

This + Axe of Despair = New OTK?

really isn't a bad combo' date=' clear spells and traps w/ Trunade and Heavy, and you can drop your opponent in three turns. he's a considerably good beatstick once that combo comes to mind.

If it does, any Battle Damage this card inflicts to your opponent becomes the original ATK of this card.

Exactly; it inflicts 1800 orig. ATK is then 1800 making it's ATK 2800 rinse and repeat for a few turns and you win.

This + Unstable Evolution + Megamorph (both increases Original ATK) + Twin Sword (Decrease ATK so no effect when attacking) = GG.

Yeah for 4 Card OTK

No' date=' it's 5. Twin Sword costs a card in hand.

Well, at least it isn't a specific card making it still a very good meta worthy OTK =D

TCG Rulings

* "Submarineroid" does not assume new "original ATK" values. Its original ATK does not modify after the battle is concluded. It does not become a "new original ATK" or anything of that sort. It's effect means to explain that the battle damage inflicted, in this situation, will be equal to whatever "Submarineroid's" original ATK is. If equipped with "Axe of Despair", it will only inflict 800 damage, and "Submarineroid's" ATK remains at 1800.[1]

Konami fails at wording. The effect can be read two completely different ways based upon their particular word choice. Leave it to them to find the right combination that does this...

So i'm not the only one who thinks this. They need to get their OCG straight i swear, if they would've let just about any good YCM'er from the Realistic Cards section deal with this card's OCG it would've made sense, but....they probably let a newbie work on these and quite possibly all the Roids. Konami needs to employ some YCM'ers to deal with their cards, i wouldn't even care if i didn't get full pay, i'd do it.
