Offer him $6 bucks and a shrug and keep your TRA. Remember, trading isn't about the better cards, it making yourself seem as if you don't need anything at all. Perfect this, and you can have any card you want. Case in point, I got a spear of chaos for $3. The kid wanted Flame wing man from the display, and my locals didn't want to trade his cards.
