A very very, VERY old Card that gives out a free Special Summon [DISC]

Recommended Posts

I tried this card at an lolocals. Not fair that I played this, my opponent chained their face-down MST, and used the targeting time to look through my grave. It's okay by the judges.

Anyway, back on topic, it's good if your opponent doesn't know it's coming or doesn't chain to it.

That's why I said' date=' if this card was ever meta it would instantly become worthless.

Wouldn't it be a cycle?

It becomes meta. People expect it. It becomes worthless. People stop using it. People no longer expect it. A few people use it again. It becomes meta again.

Anyways, I can't make heads or tails about this card's usefulness...

Reviving Sangan would NOT be a waste of a Reborn.

I doubt it. People used to run Sakuretsu in 3s, then stopped once Mobius became big, and began running chainables. Now, Mobius is no longer as big, but we continue with very few chainables. Granted, now JD, DAD, Celestia, Gyzarus and a bunch of others exist, however people may also have just started to play better. In the same vein, once people see Question being overused, they'd just look for the bottom card, possibly write it down, possibly make a mental note of it, and continue doing so, even after the card has run out of prominence. I don't see why they wouldn't just, in general, be more aware of the graveyards as they duel. <_<

So, you revive a Sangan instead of a Stardust do you?

Or instead of a Heraklinos?

Sure it wouldn't be a total waste, but I was just trying to say that the first card in your graveyard isn't as good as the cards we commonly reborn.

Depends on the situation, as all cards do. If I got a Caius, he's got a monster, and he's got less then 2400 LP, I'm gonna try to shoot for game rather then limp moves that'll just put me in a better position rather the outright win the game. Granted, I COULD just tribute Stardust or Heraklinos for Caius, but I don't end up getting any advantage from it.

As I said before, Sangan would be a perfectly acceptable choice.

You want to revive your stardust or Hiraklinos then use monster reborn or PB, you know we have ALOT of cards that will allow you chose and summon the monster you like from your grave /sarcasm
