Skirts
the ban list for the yu-gi-oh tcg is just an ever growing list of the good cards that most people base their decks on, forcing people to rebuild and re-do their decks. to me, the ban list seems ridiculous because, they waste the time and money making these cards we can't use. speaking of which, all the "good" cards are expensive, and the people that can't afford them, and some of the kid's parents don't let them buy the cards online. in conclusion, my point is that the ban list will eventually grow into a list that will limit us to only the new and ineffective cards. post your thoughts and comments. no flaming, or being rude please and thank you. Aximil
but why make overpowered cards ? the ban list bothers me because certain cards (graceful charity for example) aren't all that over powered' date=' or great in the first place.[/quote'] How is Graceful Charity NOT overpowered? And they don't make overpowered cards on purpose. They make cards and the duelists find ways to make them overpowered. So overpowered that they essentially ruin the game, meaning that Konami needs to ban said card(s).
Captain Lawless
The banlists do have their flaws. but some cards aren't thought all the way through, not because they're just slapping stuff together, but cards like Dark Strike Fighter werebetter than anyone thought at first. It really needed to go.no ban list would be stupid, and even unbanning cards you don't thinkare overpowered is stupid. Graceful Charity = SS 2 Dark Worlds, Draw 3.Dump 2 Necro Guardnas, Draw 3. See what i'm getting at?don't try to argue it unless you actually know what you're talking about.
.Gideon.
So you like the old days of chaos ? were every deck on earth runs Raigeki, HFD, M reborn, PB, Dark hole, Change of H, CED, BLS, Snatch steal, Magical Scientist, D Dou, Pot of Greed, Gracefull, ....... u know the rest. The ban list allowed the players to be creative in buiding decks.

TOMY_25
in a tournament people would take advantage if the card is not banned...that's totally not cool...

Dark_Armed_Zombie
The only people who have to rebuild their decks are the ones who caused the change in the banlist (i.e. Syncat, Tele-DAD, etc.) and the rest of us get some negatives, but usually come out better than before, such as Zombies losing CoSR (a sad day) but gaining a second Mezuki :D
Guest Chaos Pudding
This topic had a point, but it lost it due to TC's inability to find good examples. Graceful Charity, really? LOCK'D.
