Star Child
I was laying in bed with my eyes closed and there were a bunch of weird colors and stuff everywhere and I had no clue what was going on. Then a woman said my name in a calm voice and everything dissapeared into pitch black nothingness. Then I opened my eyes, but nothing was there. I believe the colors to be insanity, and the woman to be my spirit guide. When she said my name I was almost crossing over into insanity, but she managed to keep me where I need to be, in sanity. I also believe that I've seen my spirit guide when I was young:I was in a small house and looked into the living room and, standing in the doorway, was a tall, blue lady looking down at me. I turned my head and looked back and she was gone. Then I walked into the living room and saw her again, exact same figure, laying on the couch watching me. She didn't say anything, but I believe that she's the thing that said my name last night. But I haven't seen her again since that day when I was young.(Keep in mind that I saw a lot of "ghosts" with my imagination at that age, but I just know that this one's real). Felix Culpa
Well, this seems like one of the spiritual guides of Native American mythology/belief. Honestly, it is quite surprising. But it could be a dream. If you believe something, hang on to it. It keeps you from insanity.
Star Child
No, not a dream, but right before I fell asleep. I wonder if what you said's a coincidence, we're learning about native americans in school...Well thanks for your reply, I appreaciate it.

-Berserker-
Colors, things that are not there; that reminds me when I tried LSD. But if you say that was real, then probably that was your guardian angel.
Felix Culpa
Well, I don't mean to be negative, but it could've been that you had fallen asleep without notice and had a dream, or it could be something else entirely. Tell me: Did you hear a humming noise when you were looking at these lights?

Tell me: Did you hear a humming noise when you were looking at these lights?[/quote'] I was just about to say this. Seriously. A lot of times when you're laying there, especially when you're really tired, you doze in and out of sleep unknowingly. It happens to me a lot. I'll fall doze off for about 5 minutes and a dream will begin, then I will wake up thinking that what happened in my dream was real. It's very possible that this is what happened to you... But, at the same time, there could be some deeper explanation... Who knows.
Milk-Chan
Yeah something called microsleeps happen. It's basically when you drift in and out of sleep. Sometimes you might not realize it. Happens to me all the time.

fenrir
Something like that happened to me before. Except there were two things sitting in floating chairs. Apparently they zapped me with electricity. I have to stop watching those alien flicks before bed. @_@ Also, weren't those spirit guides animals, not people?
