Dark
How do you spell "Pepsi" wrong? Fanta > Coke + Pepsi But Coke and Pepsi are almost the same thing. So I really don't favor one more than the other.

Dark
They haven't even proved it causes cancer, but I'm pretty sure the Splenda stuff they put in diet soda will cause complications. Consult Wiki or Google, I'm no expert in this.

Consult Wiki or Google, I'm no expert in this.[/quote'] The cancer rumors that surround artificial sweeteners is said to originate from the 70s when lab rats developed cancer during a saccharin trial. Although no case of cancer in a human has been reportedly linked to saccharin, people still like to get paranoid about it.
Dark
I don't understand the difference between sugar and Splenda. They changed the chemical makeup of sugar?
Dismal Euphony
Splenda is made with sucralose. Sucralose contains many of the same properties as sugar, but contains fewer calories. Pure surcalose has zero calories but has approximately 600 times the sweetness of sugar. When sold as Splenda, sucralose is combined with binders, fillers and other agents that add approximately three calories to each teaspoon (5 ml). The U.S. Food and Drug Administration rules state that any product with less than five calories per service can be labeled as a zero calorie product. -Berserker-
Soon in my country we will be getting Pepsi again after like 10 years. The factory was in bankrupt and didn't want to release the contract, so until the end of the contract, Pepsi cannot give permission to other factory to distribute the product. The contract ends this year, so I suppose someone will take it.BTW juice > Fanta > cola flavored stuff.
Dark
So why does sucralose, compared to plain sucrose, cause cancer in lab rats? Or is sucralose different from saccharin?

Charizard
Depends, Coca Cola has a stronger taste, Pepsi has a smooth taste, In my opinion I recommend Coca Cola. And for the post above diet Coca Cola and diet Pepsi can give you cancer because of aspartame.
