Dragon of the Apocalypse {Edited}

Probably the only balanced auto-win card ever made...

This card cannot be Special Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Normal Summoned except by Tributing 3 monsters, 2 Spells, and 1 Trap card on your side of the field. This card cannot attack your opponent directly. Any Battle Damage this card inflicts to your opponent is halved. When this card destroys a monster by battle add 1 Apocalypse Counter to this card. When this card has 8 Apocalypse Counters you win the Duel.

You need to fix the part about Tributing Spells and Traps because you can't do that. You need to say "send 2 Spell cards and 1 Trap card to the Graveyard" or something like that. The point is you can't Tribute Spells and Traps.

Name - 6/10 - Just too simple

Pic - 8/10 - good picture

Effect - 7/10 - Well it's unique but it is still lacking.

OCG - 6/10 - Fix that 1 part!

Playability - 6/10 - Not really a card many people would use. Lower his ATK and DEF or something like that to make him a little harder to use.

Overall - I'm don't wanna do an overall until you fix that mistake because it's driving me nuts. Fix it! Fix it now!

I kind of like this card and could see myself using it in a duel. But it still has some balance problems you should work out. I like the pic but not but too much, the name is kind of cliché, but it needing 13 counters matches both its name and pic. So overall I like it just balance it out.

This card is really, REALLY under powered. you have to send toss six cards to summon him, he doesn't do any damage, and your opponent has 13 turns to draw lightning vortex, torrential, mirror force, etc. And what happens when your opponent doesn't summon/set a monster.

Yes, this card does have an alternate win condition, but your opponent would have to be an idiot to not stop you in 13 turns. UP'ed, UP'ed, UP'ed, UP'ed, UP'ed.

Nice Pic though

2/5

It’s an ok card, it has a little spice to it (if you have had me comment before, I use taste as a reference to what I feel)

Its balanced, and the attacking leaves you open to a trap, so unless you have jinzo or some other card that stops spells (which their is), a strategy built on this card is riddled with holes.

How's it Overpowered? It requires a whopping 6 Tributes and can't do battle Damage. I would have reduced the amount of monsters need to 7-10/. Still a nicely thought out card.

A win post.

However, it can be underpowered

I mean, a ton of tributes, no battle damage, and takes it destroying a monster 13 times. What are the chances in that time frame that the opponent would not use something like "Lightning Vortex" or something?

This guy really needs some kind of destruction protection. "this card is not effected by traps" would make this guy much more playable. The Jinzo, spell cancellor combo is semi decent with this guy, but you can't play spell or trap cards either. Not to mention the constant threat of penguin soldiers, man eater bugs, snowman eaters, old vindictive magician, etc.

as a side note, what happens when you get 12 counters, and you have a jinzo on the field, and your opponent plays brain control to take the dragon and kill your jinzo... you do all the work and they win the game... :(

Bottom line "The card needs some kind of protection effect"

i agree...probably from spells.

then you could play jinzo with amplifier and have royal command face-up (negate those pesky flip effects)

but thats sooooo situational......

@Balaxe: Rate? Right now your comment is spam.

I don't see how it's spam I did write a comment about your card I just don't put ratings because I think words speak louder than numbers.

But if your insecure enough that you need three words, two numbers and a line to justify your perpose in life fine... Balance it more 7/2
