Ryouta grinned. A perfect moment! Taking the blast, he grinned. "Thanks for the hit, now I activate Selection! By paying 500 Life Points, I can Special Summon a monster with 1500 or less ATK from my Deck!" He said as he revealed his Trap. If he could bring out another Monster from his Deck, his would already have a wall of Defense.

*deactivates his duel disk* heh. good to know that there are strong duelists here. *turns to isaac.* sorry if our duel kept you waiting. i'll be on my way now. *turns back to ryouta.* i was usnig this deck one more time, for old times sake. but i knew that i would need a better deck anyway. we shall duel again, i promise you. for now, farewell. *turns away and goes back to his dorm, rifling through his deck and deciding what cards would stay, and what cards would be removed.*

Watching as the holograms faded, Ryouta seemed shocked. It had to have been the shortest duel he was ever in. It ended in the first turn. "What the crap...?" He asked as he became annoyed. No duel should have been this short. Two turns at least!

*stops momentarily and looks back at ryouta as he says* in addition to wanting to duel with this deck just the once more, i also wanted to see some of what your deck was about. for now, i have seen enough. the next time we meet, i shall defeat you for sure. now, *turns back around and continues walking to the dorms.* shouldn't you be going with isaac to look for the other signers?

"How incredibly odd. Who gets enough of a person's deck with 1 turn?" Isaac wondered confused by the stranger's odd actions.

"And how did he know about the signers? Anyway let's keep going Ryouta." Isaac said.

The two continued and were just approaching the hallway that lead to Dark's office where Hagi had told them to meet.

Shrugging it off, Ryouta followed Isaac. "That guy was a weird one. I've rarely see anyone using Magic Cylinder anymore." He said as he pulled his Deck out of the Duel Disk and began to shuffle the cards he used back into his Deck. For once, he actually had a pretty good starting hand. He probably could have brought out some of his strongest monsters in the first turn.

*now in his dorm and having finished making his deck, leo reflects on the events of 15 years ago. he could hardly remember, but...he knew what was there within the hallways of his own mind. the giant purple spider, the destruction of domino city, and how a few years later, he had overheard of the legendary battle between the signers and the dark signers at 'the 4 stars of destiny'....*

"Hn, Those kids need to hurry..." Neo turned to his large window and viewed the rest of the Academy.

 

He took out his deck, "I'm sure there must be Dark Signers as well..."

Isaac and Ryouta had reached Neo's office. Isaac opened the door. He stepped in and saw that Hagi, Aijay, and Hirikiri weren't there.

"Mr. Dark?" Isaac said. He saw Neo sitting at his desk.

"Where are the others, aren't they here yet?" Isaac asked wondering where the other 3 were.

"Hmmm? Oh!" he turned to face them and stood up, "No, there not here yet..."

 

"So, you both have the marks?"

"Apparently. I never showed any sign that I did but when Hagi played Hades my armed started glowing and a blank card I found turned into this." Isaac said as he showed Neo Gaia.

"When the hologram faded my mark did too. Do you know what that could mean? We thought maybe getting all five signers together would activate it." Isaac said happy to have someone that could answer some of his questions.

"As for Ryouta, I know he has it. I saw him dueling Hagi earlier and both of their arms were glowing red." Isaac said.

"Well. It seems like your dragon card is linked with you, and your mark." Neo sat down again.

 

"Oh, please, take a seat. Anyway, I'll have to see what happens when you are all together..."

Isaac accepted that he would have to wait for the other 3 to find out what exactly was happening.

"Thank you." Isaac said as he took a seat. He looked at Ryouta's arm and noticed the mark was there, not glowing, even when he wasn't dueling. Isaac wondered what it would be like for his mark to be around constantly.

Chris noticed Isaac and decided to introduce himself "You there..." Chris took a formal bow "My name is Christopher Zombire pleased to meet you" Chris while he tried to look composed in his greeting he couldnt help but look around slightly looking for some sign of his comrades

"Another student?" Neo looked at Chris, "Are you...?"

"Indeed i am" Chris said "I was looking for a place called Ultima Academy when i wandered upon this place and i knew i should sharpen my skills here before moving along my journey"

Isaac saw the stranger and was a little startled.

"I'm Isaac Alvord. What are you doing here?" Isaac asked the new person. Isaac wondered just what this stranger was up to.

"I was wondering what someone had to do to get a friendly duel going in this academy" chris asked flashing a smile of brilliant white teeth

Hagi walked up not finding kiri" What's going on...?" He mumbled seeing the new kid

"So in other words..." Isaac said as he stood up. "You're challenging me? All right, I need something to do while I wait." Isaac said as he activated his duel disk and put his Greek warrior deck in.

"Pardon me" Chris said "My Name is Chris...Chris Zomire and i was simply wondering where an eager pro could find a duel around this academy?" Chris said smiling "And it looks like i have a challenger" chirs readied his Duel disk

Isaac drew his first 5 cards.

"Time for this deck's intro at Duel Academy. So who's gonna take the first turn?" Isaac asked Chris.

"Could you do the honors?" chris asked loading and drawing from his infamous Zombie Deck "Im ready...come at me"

"Alright then, my turn" Isaac said as he drew his sixth card. He looked at his hand and decided to start out strong.

"I summon Zeta the Ancient Swordswoman in ATK mode." Isaac said.

"Now during our own Standby Phase we lose 200 Lifepoints for every Warrior or Spellcaster on the field." Isaac said.

"Now then I play two cards face-down and end my turn. Show me what you can do." Isaac said somewhat excited.
