Ooc: you were there so obviously your character knows. Go ahead and say what you want about it Shadow.

 

"I understand Professor Dark, I won't say anything." Isaac told Neo telepathically.

"I'm fine. It wasn't painful just exhausting. As the duel reached it's end I could feel my consciousness fading in and out. But why do you suddenly care about me? I hardly even know you and I wasn't exactly friendly in our first meeting." Isaac said to Leo.

telepathy huh? that must come in pretty useful. i don't know that i would want that power though. it must take a great deal of self control at times to not see what your opponent is planning to do in a duel. anyway, i'm glad that your feeling better. i don't like the thought that something bad would happen to anyone. anyway, should i go and tell the others that you will be back with them soon headmaster dark?

"Leo you seem to misunderstand. My power isn't telepathy. My power is... that's not important at the moment. Though with training most psychic duelists can use telepathy. And you have to focus to actually do it so it's easy not to cheat in duels. And if we're heading back I'll be going too. I'm fine now." Isaac said as he began to stand up.

Staying quiet through out the entire speech, Devan muddled over what was said, especially what Isaac said. "Telepathy huh, who'd of thought?" He muttered under his breath. He was about to ask a question, but noticed Neo leaving and held his tounge.

Isaac wondered what would make Devan think about telepathy.

<"Only a psychic duelist would wonder about it. Does that mean..."> Isaac said.

"Well, I can talk to you about it on my way to Professor Dark's office." Isaac said as the two started to go. Seeing that they were alone Isaac decided to ask.

"So Devan, you must be a psychic duelist as well. You wouldn't pursue it farther if you weren't a potential user." Isaac said.

Seeing as the two were alone, Devan replied with a quick nod. "Yeah, I am." he said. "It's the reason why I rarely duel, my powers tend to slip out and I unintentionaly hurt my opponents, which was why I cut my match with Ryouta short." he explained. He took out his deck and began shuffling it out of nervousness.

"You know I had issues with my powers at first. Most psychic duelists do. That's why we're given such a bad name. Kids get scared when there uncontrollable powers emerge and people usually get hurt. But so many of them could be great if they had help. When that guy at the tournament found me he taught me how to control my powers. He made me realize that fearing them won't do anything. You have to embrace them and make them your own. I remember most of how he taught me. If you'd like, I could help you learn to control your powers and even use telepathy." Isaac said, putting a bit more emotion into that than he had ever planned to.
