"WHO IS THE CHANCELLOR?!?!?!" Hagi almost screamed.... then mumbled "Sorry... I'm just excited to know.... I heard it was a famous duelist..... is it Jaden Yuki?" He asked quizzically

"Well, it's supposed to be a surprise. He is a famous, and I mean VERY famous, duelist from what I hear. He's giving a welcome speech..... but it is very perplexing...." Hagi said and calmed down a bit. He was excited which was rare.

"So you're telling me that you guys can't wait the ten minutes to get to the island and get the chancellor's official introduction." Isaac said. He had his things since the island was quite close. He had heard the last parts of the group's conversation.

"Does it really matter who it is? It's not like he actively interacts with the students anyway. Though don't get me wrong. I want to know but 10-20 more minutes won't kill me." Isaac said.

"It generally isn't for me either. But in this case there's a set time when we get to see who he is so wishing it to come faster doesn't do a whole lot. And what was this I heard about someone asking to duel?" Isaac said.

"I don't think there's sufficient time for a duel."

"I agree. No one gets to see my cards unless I initiate or for class, anyways....." Hagi said under his breath

"Yeah, no need to give future opponents more time to get used to your deck. Looks like we'll be coming into dock really soon." Isaac said.

"Nervous about what?" Devan asked walking up behind Hagi and the others. Talking was never his strong suit, but he figured he might as well try to make friends while here for the time being.

"There's really no reason to be nervous. Just being accepted to the academy means you're a good duelist. Being in obelisk obviously means you're meant to be here. Have confidence in your skills and you'll be fine. Anyway I wish I was going into obelisk but I wasn't able to do any of the prerequisites for starting in obelisk first year." Isaac said.

"R-really?" Hagi asked "You seem good to me......"

"Well obelisk has those ridiculous requirements to start there first year no matter how good you are. You need to be wealthy and get into a rather up-scale prep-school. My family never was so when I initiated Ra was the highest I could go. You went there didn't you?" Isaac said.

"Went where?" Hagi asked a bit dumbfounded

"Obelisk was never for me, they seem to fancy, plus like you said, you need to have connections to get in. Because of my grades and skills, I got into Ra." Devan said, opening up a bit, but still hesitant.

"The obelisk prep school. The place you have to go if you want to get into obelisk in your first year. Are you saying you never went there?" Isaac said, slightly amazed.
