According to the September 2009 list of banned cards, I needed to take out my Monster Reborn and Card of Safe Return from my Decks so, I came up with this new variation for my Spell Counter Deck:

 

Monsters (10):

x3 Magical Exemplar

 

Spells (30)

 

x3 Magical Citadel of Endymion

x3 Magical Mallet

x3 Spell Power Grasp

x3 Toon Table of Contents

x3 Golden Bamboo Sword

x2 Terraforming

x2 Broken Bamboo Sword

x2 Gold Sarcophagus

x2 Allure of Darkness

x2 Hand Destruction

x1 Card Destruction

x1 Magical Dimension

 

There are 2 more Spell Cards but I let a friend borrow my Deck for the weekend and surprisingly, I can't remember what those 2 cards are. might be an MST or something....

With a good hand, you will be about 1 card of self-decking out in the first turn of the duel.

The most damage I've been able to do with Tempest is 86 Spell Counters worth of damage just for the lulz ;)

If the hand is bad, you at least make your Deck 5 more cards thinner ^-^

I've tried testing this in deck studio with the draw functions, but it can't do magical mallet and I don't really want to go on DMU.

 

Since you've tested it, think you could tell me approx what % of the time you OTK? (FTK mostly, I'm guessing).

 

I might actually build this for the lulz, just because you can basically build it with 3 Structure decks, and excluding the Sarcs and Allures (which I already have), the rest is like $15 off trollandtoad. So for something that looks like it runs nearly as fast as EoS FTK in traditional, it's pretty cheap =D

Not that often, just use it for the lulz ;)

my guess:

20% = FTK

40% = OTK in your second turn

and the remaining 40 will be:

a) you loose

b) barely won xD

I'm looking for ways to improve the FTK rate.

 

If you separate Spells with Monsters and then arrange them "monster - spell x3 - monster - spell x3 - etc" before shuffling, most likely (about 85-90% sure) you will win that turn on the first duel xD

 

I always overdo it and strike for 30+ spell counters even though I never need that many, so I think you should test it with proxies first ^-^

Na, I think I'll build it, but maybe with the following changes, and it's going to be something like $60 after I take out the Sarcs.

x1 Heavy Storm (replaces Sarc, incase I'm going second and don't want to risk bottomless or something)

Ok but let me tell you Gold Sarcophagus is there just for Cyber Ouroboros xD

I hope Cyber Ouroboros gets you the extra discard/draw as concistently now that it is depending only on Allure of Darkness ^-^

 

Magical Citadel of Endymion won't be destroyed by card effects but if you have Giant Trunade and happen to have the field Spell with 6+ Counters, its going to hurt you ^-^"

Perhaps a couple diamond dudes for the side deck/ maybe even the main deck seeing as how many spells hes got to hit.

 

EDIT: Magical explosion would be devastating in this deck incase you dont FTK.

 

I didn't even remember Magical Explotion existed xD

I'll try to use it and see what happens ^-^

umm...emm... may I ask how that works?

I can't imagine how can you get enough Spell Counters without Magical Exampler' date=' and how can you draw fast enough without Magical Library ^-^"

And you don't have Endymion as back up either (at least 1 copy so you don't get stuck)

 

What are "Broww" and "RML" O_o

If your looking for new Ideas, Spell Absorbtion would add a bonus HP gain to all this,

 

and don't stop reading!!

 

do it with Ancient Leaf, by the time you draw Leaf, with Spell Absorb you'd garunteed have over 9000!!!!.... lp. and draw power is teh smex.

 

PS. I might do somthing like this come December, when Tempest Magician is easy to get. =D

Broww is that dark world monster who's called broww.

 

RML = Library.

 

All the spell counters go in citidel. All you need is 16 cards in hand and spell counters on the field combined to win. For the rare occassion you can only get 12 counters out there's magical explosion.
