Felix Culpa
Incredibly enough, the soul weighs a negative amount. When you die, your body gets heavier. So, either you soul weighs a negative amount or the value of the soul is nothing. discuss.
Juuzou
have you ever though that the oxygen in your lungs make you a little heavier? there's no way a soul could way anything.

Skuldur
The soul does not exist. [/thread] Neither do you. @Topic: I thought it was the opposite. There was an experiment that was made on a dog, and when he died he weight a little less than before he died.
Dark
I obviously exist, your logic is flawed. When you die, your bowels come out, therefore making you lose weight.
Skuldur
How can you prove that you exist? Maybe you're just my imagination and when I log off of YCM you stop existing until I log on again.
Felix Culpa
Skuldur - 12Dark - 0 Anyways, Dark, I never said that the soul did. Your bowels clearing and and lungs releasing wouldn't cause a drop of almost one ad a half pounds.

Dark
People die? orly? Where is your proof? I need evidence. And after you provide my evidence, I will say that you are wrong and subsequently write a book saying that people live forever. Then you'll be sorry. I think he meant that when someone takes something out of your body for this "sample", you are losing weight as well as mass. Because if you lose an XYZ amount of blood, your weight ALONG WITH your mass will be affected. I didn't fully understand his post, though.

Altαir
Souls, in my dictionary, are made of 2 Electrons. That's a very low mass, I can't recall how many zeros there were after the point. Souls weigh nothing. It's pressure, my friend. And pressure has some relationship to weight, I believe. Nothing can be made of only electrons, because they would repel each other and fly away, especially considering it does not have any nuclear bonds. BAM! Disproved theory. Dismal Euphony
I'm not 100% sure about this answer, as it was a topic I went over in my 9th grade health class... Most dead bodies are drained of their blood in a morgue. The average human body contains 8 - 10 pints of blood, and if I remember correctly, a pint of blood roughly equals 1.1lbs. So the dead body of an average human loses 8.8 - 11lbs from blood alone. There may be other factors that go into weight loss and the such, but I'm not sure about them. Dark
or outwhines I resent that. I used to try to get my point across through whining, but that failed, so I started insulting people and pointing out their idiocies. It has been working beautifully.
