So I'm fucking awesome, and so are Flip Trolls.

Recommended Posts

my friend at FIU (Florida I-something University) overheard some random people talking about flip trolls. they were playing a game of jugimonz, and one of em said they wanted a deck that destroyed its opponents without trying. the other one suggested flip trolls. the first one asked about it, and they started talking about /my/ deck build.

thats funking amazing.

I love how you think you're the first person to ever make a Deckout Deck or a Deck with the majority of its monsters being Flip Effect monsters.

You're an idiot, and so are the people involved in your conversation. Without trying, you just lose by default, and Deck-out Decks or Decks with the majority of their monster line-up being Flip Effect monsters are hardly the most effective Decktype when it comes to "destroying other Decks", unless you mean it in the literal sense of Decking them out, where it would be obvious that Deckout Decks would be the most effective.

@polaris, i'm quite aware that empty jar exists, and has existed for quite some time.

however, i'm also quite aware that i came up with the deck type completely on my own. that is to say, i created something that had already been created without knowing it had been created.

from there, i proceeded to progress it through various stages until i made it as powerful, consistent and fast as possible, more or less entirely on my own. a few cards were suggested here or there, but the majority of the number crunching, card additions, card subtractions, and the whole playstyle and strategy really originated with me.

most established decks are an amalgamation of the contributions of various players. i'm sure the same guy who came up with the chariot loop wasnt the same one who came up with rescue-airbellum, and yet both these strategies find their way into gb decks. same goes for foolish-wulf and the inclusion of beckoning light (which wasnt always there, mind you)

i'm sure the final version of empty jar as its presented on the wikia was also the compilation of various contributors.

what i'm getting at is that my efforts almost alone came together to rival, if not surpass an established creation with possibly many creators and contributors.

to put it more simply, my deck creation skill (at least within this narrow scope) equals or even outmatches the collective skill of a potentially huge group of people.

thats pretty funking impressive, if i do say so myself.

that being said, in regards to the rest of your pathetic trolling:

a. saying i'm stupid and i lose over and over again doesnt validate your argument. it merely takes up space to make it sound like youre saying more, and it serves to make you feel better about yourself. youre pathetic, tool.

b. you cant really argue with me about things some people i dont know were talking about. am i supposed to relay your disagreement? i never stood one way or the other in terms of what they said, however you seem to think some random guy's opinions echo my own. assuming such and then bashing me is sad. its like you go around looking to put others down to compensate for some petty insecurities. or maybe youre just projecting your own issues and angst on others. youre pathetic, tool.

c. if you knew anything about my deck, youd know that in its current state, the lineup is almost split even between flip effects and regular effects. i cut the monsters down to 9, and its split 5 flip to 4 normal. and night assailant hardly counts as a flip effect anyways. hes really just a hand advantage generator. to further my original statement, your ignorance and generalization of something you proceed to bash just proves your inability to discuss the deck type on a knowledgeable level. in other words, once again, youre pathetic, tool.

d. as to the implication that flip effects are less useful than regular effects, the me first remind you that ryko is a staple. next let me say that when the entire deck is focused around speeding up the otherwise slow flip effects, they tend to get better. i'm quite aware that they arent meta, they arent rivals to ls or bws or even gbs. i'm also aware that this is mostly an issue with consistency, and consistency can always be improved, it's just a matter of figuring out how. i cant find a good opening for this, but for parallelism and ocd's sake, youre pathetic, tool.

e. bad pun is bad. youre pathetic, tool.

my point of pride doesnt originate in the ability of the deck. it originally derives from the creation of this deck, as i mentioned before, but in this instance, i'm drawing it from the fact that two random strangers were discussing my deck build. and i say my deck build because they were using my name for it. if they said empty jar, it would be completely different, but they didnt, now did they? point is: something i created (created under that title at least) was being discussed by some strangers far away. my efforts were being discussed, and specifically lauded by completely random people. can you say that you contributed something to a vast community that was praised by strangers? whens the last time you did something that had that kind of far reaching impact? its not a big impact, but the scope of it makes it impressive. for all i know, theres a circle of sweaty nerds in canada saying "check my new flip trolls eh". obviously i didnt really contribute too much, because it was mostly established (with the exception of a few of my additions), but i more or less single handedly popularized a deckbuild among people who would have otherwise not tried it. thats something to take some measure of pride in.

its just like when i created and popularized duel spirits :P (looks at polaris's title)

now, moving right along

@genzo which version did you take? flip 6? what were the numbers of mallets-moons-cups?

@rest, thanks guys.

What you're doing is more or less the equivalent of picking any Archetype, grouping the best of the monsters of said Archetype together in the same Deck, and calling yourself "funking awesome". Your level of idiocy was banworthy before, nothing's changed.

from there' date=' i proceeded to progress it through various stages until i made it as powerful, consistent and fast as possible, more or less entirely on my own. a few cards were suggested here or there, but the majority of the number crunching, card additions, card subtractions, and the whole playstyle and strategy really originated with me.[/quote']

This paragraph amounts to "I edited cards in my Deck. Bow before me."

Rescue Cat + Airbellum was "came up with" as soon as Airbellum's stats were publicized. To say that no Decks EVER ran Foolish or Beckoning when LS first came into being's just ignorant. I'm not denying that Decks can't evolve, I'm just saying that your saying that you made the best possible Deck involving a high number of Flip Effect monsters is idiocy.

what i'm getting at is that my efforts almost alone came together to rival' date=' if not surpass an established creation with possibly many creators and contributors.

You're so full of yourself that you can't grasp that you're no better than anyone who can make a less-than-competitive stack of 40 cards.

that being said' date=' in regards to the rest of your pathetic trolling:[/quote']

You've demonstrated time and time again that you have no idea what "trolling" is. You basically just use it as a filler word whenever you feel like it.

a. saying i'm stupid and i lose over and over again doesnt validate your argument. it merely takes up space to make it sound like youre saying more' date=' and it serves to make you feel better about yourself. youre pathetic, tool.[/quote']

I couldn't say "you're stupid" and "you lose" enough times to accurately portray how I feel about most of our conversations, or an amount of times to rival the amount of filler text you use yourself, my liege. My entire argument is that your argument that just because you made an obsolete Deck and modified it a couple times doesn't mean I'm supposed to worship you. All entertaining filler text removed, you still lose and are still as much of an idiot as ever.

b. you cant really argue with me about things some people i dont know were talking about. am i supposed to relay your disagreement? i never stood one way or the other in terms of what they said' date=' however you seem to think some random guy's opinions echo my own. assuming such and then bashing me is sad. its like you go around looking to put others down to compensate for some petty insecurities. or maybe youre just projecting your own issues and angst on others. youre pathetic, tool.[/quote']

Paragraph amounts to "No no, you see, I AM a God because I made a Deck with a large amount of Flip Effect monsters and everything you say is just a product of personal issues and angst, as you have no rational reason of disputing that I'm a God because I made a Deck with a large amount of Flip Effect monsters". I don't think I even need to counter here.

c. if you knew anything about my deck' date=' youd know that in its current state, the lineup is almost split even between flip effects and regular effects. i cut the monsters down to 9, and its split 5 flip to 4 normal. and night assailant hardly counts as a flip effect anyways. hes really just a hand advantage generator. to further my original statement, your ignorance and generalization of something you proceed to bash just proves your inability to discuss the deck type on a knowledgeable level. in other words, once again, youre pathetic, tool.[/quote']

"Discuss this Deck Type on a knowledgeable Level" to what you'd want it to be = "Tronta's amazing, and monsters with a large quantity of Flip Effect monsters are totally Meta", when in reality, Empty Jar and piles of Flip Effect monsters like it are roughly Tier 3, and your idiocy when it comes to the relativity of the effectiveness of Deck Types is astounding.

d. as to the implication that flip effects are less useful than regular effects' date=' the me first remind you that ryko is a staple. [/quote']

"Ryko is a staple." There you have it folks.

Did you just admit that your last hundreds of posts claiming that "flip trolls are meta and im funking awesome" are wrong? I think we're making progress.

e. bad pun is bad. youre pathetic' date=' tool.

[/quote']

Irrelevant, you know I'm right.

Bottom line, you took credit for a Tier 3 Deck because you had no idea people before you had made it, that doesn't make you pro. We don't even have evidence that you're sure that this "conversation" took place at all, since it was "your friend" who made this claim, let alone proof from you that it actually happened. Then, even IF it did, you haven't given us proper context of this "conversation" or any reason to believe that the people who supposedly mentioned your Deck were any good at the game or that they were actually in a distant location.

@ Nate: Because Tronta wants to take credit for this.

I believe Polaris is using something in an argument that Tronta disproved in the post, but Polaris conveniently ignored it. Or posted like an idiot and didn't read Tronta's entire post. Tronta specifically said that his deck only runs 5 flip-effect monsters.

Now, back before Blackwings, I was able to make a very competitive Lightsworn deck that didn't run Charge of the Light Brigade OR Judgment dragon. Refered to as BudgetSworns, or LightSworms. Though I didn't say: "HEY GUYZ I CREATED A NEW DECKTYPE!" And I will say this to Tronta

Dude, like... come on. This is the most egotistical thing I've ever heard from you, and you usually beat me when it comes to arrogance. This post could have been changed to something less "BOW BEFORE MY GLORY" into "Holy sheet guys! Someone about 300 miles away was talking about Empty Jar, but called it Flip Trolls!"

Also, I was the one who came up with the Duel Spirits thing. =P

Or you have no idea what the hell you're talking about, in fact, you're guilty of exactly what you're accusing. When you run 9 monsters, 5 to 4 is still a majority. >_> I'm pretty sure. Not to mention all of his other "builds" contained an even higher ratios of Flips to non-flips. Anyway, that's entirely aside from the point.

The point is that Tronta took credit for a Tier 3 Deck that'd already been done and is claiming to be some sort of God, which is a perfect illustration of pride-blinded blatant idiocy.

Specific contextual evidence displaying that you indeed were the first to make a legitimate "LOLYCM"-style comeback with reasoning on why other combacks before yours weren't in "LOLYCM" fashion or I start fighting your power. >=)
