Dark_Armed_Zombie Posted September 25, 2009 Report Share Posted September 25, 2009 *facepalm* Wow, while I'm happy that Honest is being reprinted as it will help any deck that uses Honest (Little City, Racoon City, LIGHT Zombies, etc.) with the reprint of Charge, Recharge, AND Honest with JD being in the Turbo pack, they are pretty much saying "LS FTW N00BS!!!" and really, REALLY want something bad to happen... This is going to be a busy Christmas season... Ancient Prophecy(Alreadly paid for a box)Warrior's Strike SD (Already paid for a box)Jack/Crow/Yusei/LeoLuna Tins (I'm only getting Yusei's, and Leo/Luna depending on the promoSavior Star Dragon and Wiraqocha Rasca Tin (Only getting Savior Star I think...)Hidden Arsenal (definantly getting a box)Stardust Overdrive and Stardust Overdrive SE ( I think I'll wait and get a SE box for the promos, the promos in this one made me jizz)and now...Twilight edition (I'm getting 2 of these, I already have 1 Honest) holy crap.... this is the busiest Yugioh Christmas I remember... Crimson General Posted September 25, 2009 Author Report Share Posted September 25, 2009 Yea XD, I am far from rich, and I play this game regularly, I have a couple finished decks, and collect ALOT. it's less a rich man's game, and more a "know what the crap your doing" game. example, I just make an easy 40 bucks buying cards from a card shop then selling them bought, 4 Lonefires (.50 each), 2 Gigas (.50 each), 2 Tytannials (5$ each), then put together a plant deck with those 8, and a buncha jank commons and rares I had lying around. and sold it for 50 bucks... that 40 bucks went towards buying a whole box of ANPR SE... it's a cycle, make that cycle your slave and your good ;D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Besides the fact that I'm a flippen pack rat for cards, I don't think I could sell a deck like that for $50. My Charisma modifier is like +0... In that particular case, he offered 50$ for it. Gross extortion would be "That deck won me lots of tourneys, and was hard to finalize, make it 80 and it's yours. it's not like I lied =P he knew what he was getting. ontopic: is this news REALLY not that exciting? or is everyone offline? You do realize the bolded part refers to Konami, right? but this is refering to them making money, we all know they are experts at that, so why would they jack up the price? If they did, less would be bought and they would therefore earn less money. Besides, it's mainly the stort you buy them from that determines the price generally. Crimson General Posted September 25, 2009 Author Report Share Posted September 25, 2009 most people don't have THAT much money lying around... if I, a usual consumer want Honest, and they make it a 10 dollar deal, that seems AMAZING to me, and will gladly shell out 30$ for all 3.. if I, a usual consumer want Honest, and they make it a 20 dollar deal, that seems EXPENSIVE to me, and will probably only buy 1 tops, and trade for the rest. and 30=/=20 besides, it's not like making an honest costs anymore money to print any other card.
