He couldn't move or see, yet he still felt as if he were being dragged under. Then, the world opened around him, revealing a dim, musty room. The only source of light was a small fire burning between him and another person. The dim light made them little more than a shadow. "Where am I?" I may enjoy this." Luis spoke to himself as the fire slowly grew in the room. The Seal Of Darkness was spreading throughout his body, and he looked down at his skin to find the designs slowly creeping down his arms and legs. He felt as the Darkness crept out into the world, trying to find a victim. Perhaps it was the instincts of the Darkness, or maybe it was just random luck, but as soon as the Darkness plucked the first victim, Luis felt the Seal burning upon his body. "Signer!" He looked across the fire as the young man suddenly appeared out of the Darkness. So, this is a Signer... "Prepare yourself. A duel in the Darkness is like no other... Duel!" Luis lifted his Duel Disk in the air, awaiting his opponent to do the same. "I set one face-down card, and summon Toon Cannon Soldier in attack mode! I follow up with The Seal Of Darkness!" The Seal marks on his body quickly transferred through the air and surrounded the two duelists, illuminating Luis' face with a purple light. "This Field Spell boosts the ATK of each monster I control by 500, and makes them DARK-Attributed if not already. End Phase!" He felt his heart stop. It seemed that the Seal Of Darkness was running his body on auto-pilot. He felt his mind racing faster than ever before. Strategies he'd never before considered popped into his head. The only difference between you and I, Signer--" The word came out as a hiss. The Darkness filled his heart with a hatred of the Signers, and he felt fury unlike anything else he'd ever felt. What you should be questioning is, what will your move be... and what will happen if you lose this game." Luis let a wicked grin form on his face. He figured that either the Seal of Darkness or this realm was the cause, but there was no time to dawdle on that. "I draw! And activate Unlucky Duo! Now, random chance will determine which two Spell or Trap Cards will be destroyed! Of course, I will have to discard a card from my hand to activate it."A blot of lightning shot out from Bryce's Duel Disk and split into two. Now, since I'm gonna lose 'em anyway, I send both Toon World and my face-down Enemy Controller to the Grave in exchange for gaining 2000 Life Points." The Spells disappeared into rays of light that spread into Luis' body, increasing his Life Points to 5000. "Since Toon World wasn't destroyed but was sacrificed, my Cannon Soldier stays on the field. The plants left nasty cuts on his skin, but he felt the Darkness' cold reach covering his wounds, almost instantaneously healing them. "Interesting... you combat this Darkness well. How I envy you... I draw." Three cards in hand, no field but The Seal Of Darkness. How was he gonna get out of this one? "I activate the Spell, Toon Table Of Contents, to add one 'Toon' card to my hand. I add Toon Goblin Attack Force to my hand, then Normal Summon him. He felt the Darkness creeping over his vision once again, blinding him. "Looks like you Duelists with your dragons aren't people to mess with... oh, well. This is the price I pay for submitting to the Darkness. Let's see what happens to me now..." He allowed the cold Darkness to overtake his body. He ran across to where the man was being absorbed by the darkness, seized the man's arm with his right hand, and began to pull. The Mark of the Dragon on his arm began to pulse, then disappeared.Bryce suddenly felt a lot stronger.He tugged with all his might, and pulled the strange man out of the Darkness, causing both of them to collapse on the floor. There was then a bright light, and the two appeared in the same location that Bryce was once taken from.OOC: If any of this is impossible/godmodding/against anyone's wishes, let me know and I'll edit it. The guy looked... worried. He was pulling Luis' arm, apparently trying to pull him from out of the Darkness. What an amusing thought... Some things are inevitable, though. He felt the cold Darkness rushing around him. It was almost as if it was causing its own friction, warming his body a little. Then the realization came. The Signer's birthmark flashed in his vision, and he felt a new warmth in his body, one to combat the Darkness. He felt himself being pulled away, into the light. Looking back, The Seal Of Darkness had left its mark upon the ground. And in that Seal was the silhouette of a man -- Luis' silhouette. Suddenly, the silhouette came to life, holding The Seal Of Darkness in his hand. He had the most wicked grin on his face, and he shuffled a deck in his hands. Revealing the top card, Luis watched as Toon World was engulfed by the Darkness, becoming something.... Evil. "You fool. How dare you retreat back into the light. The Seal Of Darkness lets nobody escape its clutch. We SHALL make you into one of our servants... eventually. Until then, say adios to your power." Luis watched as the apparition faded back into the Darkness, snatching The Seal Of Darkness card out of his deck as it did so. He blacked out almost immediately after. The Signer's birthmark flashed before his eyes once more before he fell completely out of consciousness...  Awakening once more out in the open air, Luis awoke to the moonlight shining down on his face. "...eh? Where am--" Suddenly, it all came back to him. He quickly got up, feeling the Duel Disk on his arm still, and grabbed his deck. He searched. "Where is it...?" As he looked through, everything was there -- except for The Seal Of Darkness. It had gone missing. So, then... was that apparition... real...? Luis looked immediately to his left, sensing the presence of somebody else. He saw the Signer that he'd dueled, and realized that... this person had saved him from most certain doom. "Um.... thank you, sir, for saving me from the Darkness.... and my apologies." She said it in a sinister voice, and Luis knew that this wasn't really Toon Dark Magician Girl talking. Or... was it? Soon after, she instantly disappeared. He checked his deck, and saw that everything was still there -- including Toon Dark Magician Girl. The Seal was still gone, though. "Odd... I have a bad feeling about this." ----OoC: I'll probably take control of her once the plot picks up again. Until then, she's Shadow's underling, I suppose.
