Father Wolf
Meh the economic crisis isn't terrible yet, but it could get there... at least unemployment is going down. we are seeing some light but not much. at least gas isnt $4.50 anymore i dont think my wallet could handle that. If anything the US will become the UE (United Empire) and we will take over 1/3 of the world; before we become to massive and crumble in on our self's. Dark Mousy
That oil is going to go up again. Thanks to Barack Obama's stimulus. Point is: If the government puts more money into the system (the economic system), then we have more dollars chasing the same goods. So logically, prices will rise = inflation. Seeing how the economy is already in the pit, people are going to spend more, so we have EVEN MORE money into the system, which drives even MORE INFLATION. I think the government trying to spend it's way out of trouble is wrong.

WHAT!? the loonie is down a couple points! omg how sad for u. Eh, we've gotten used to it. I've heard those very words many a time on CBC news. "The loonie took a hit today" too. It never really seems to go up. Plus, they're coins with loons on them and don't rip or burn quite as easily. One dollar bills? What madness is this? Canada's in North America, but when people use "America", they're referring to the United States of America, not the whole of North and South America, which is why Americans are known as Americans and why Canadians are known as Canadians. Altαir
You people and your ideas on communism. Communism = Sharing. Get that straight in your head. If we all share, the world will be a better place. With your Capitalism, people are on the streets, rummaging the garbage for food. People get low pays. No jobs. If we all turn to communism, this world will be just perfect. I am Karl Marx, and I approve of this message.

Dark Mousy
I thought people didn't understand this about Communism, you need INCENTIVES! But Omgakitty nailed it spot on like an economist. Without incentives, the entire system falls apart. It first succeeds, but the gears rust, as it's inefficient, and it collapses sooner or later. In a perfect world, Communism works, but in a perfect world EVEN FACISM will work! That's why Obama should not inject money into the system!
